In a recent interview with Stellar Magazine, Rose admitted, "I don't know that I have the emotional bandwidth and energy to withstand another year of living in the States with that anger and that oppression and what they're doing to the gay community and the trans community – it has become so exhausting."

The 37-year-old actress opened up to her mother about being a lesbian before her teenage years. Over the years, her sexual identity has evolved as she now identifies as being gender-fluid.

Rose and Jessica were in a relationship between 2016 and 2018, where they garnered significant attention during their time together. However, their love story took an unfortunate turn, leaving both parties hurt and emotionally scarred, with Rose threatening to expose "the sisters" for "how horrific" they allegedly were to her.

"It was a terrible idea. That wasn't a wise or healthy or happy thing to do," the DJ admitted. "I was doing too much. I was trying to write the book as well as doing a very serious film and it was so heavy."

"I still strongly feel that I have to write this book and it has to come out soon. I feel like maybe it'll be very healing for me," Rose said.
