Simone Biles Ready For 2024 Olympics As She Backflips In A Dress

Simone Biles is gearing up for the Olympics in style! The artistic gymnast recently showcased her impeccable talent during a celebratory ceremony.

The gymnast with the most World medals (25) and most World gold medals (19) rose to fame in 2013 after winning two World Championship goals aged just 16, including the all-around title.  Moving on to win several gold medals in the following years, Biles became a gymnastic powerhouse and continues to dominate the gymnastic world.

Recently, she unveiled her plans to return to compete in the U.S. Classic on August 5, after taking a much-needed break since her participation in the Tokyo Olympics. 

The athlete, who recently hosted friends and family back in May at her luxurious wedding to Jonathan Owens in Cabo, Mexico, played the role of a bridesmaid at her best friend's wedding.

Taking to her Instagram to flaunt the special occasion, she posted a carousel of images featuring herself, the bride, and her fellow bridesmaids. In the first slide, Biles and her best friend looked gorgeous in their attire as the athlete donned a lindworm green sleeveless dress while the bride wore a sweetheart neckline mermaid wedding gown.

The pair had their black tresses styled into a side part and wore light makeup while they smiled brightly for the camera, holding white and green bouquets. 

In the next frame, Biles and the beautiful bride posed for the camera alongside the other bridesmaids, surrounded by a white background, while a wedding arbor majestically decorated the grand hall.

The last slide, on the other hand, caught the attention of fans as the renowned gymnast backflipped with her dress, making amused spectators at the ceremony video the remarkable moment. Adding a caption to her post, she penned, "the one where your bestfriend gets married so much love to my favorite couple @kaylasimonehome @irate. Congrats! love y'all ?."

She further credited the photographer "@raetay_photography," who also captured the stunning pictures during her wedding ceremony. Aside from her cheerful post amassing over 300,000k likes, fans took to her comments section to appreciate her beauty and the jaw-dropping stunt she pulled while fully clothed.

A fan proudly wrote, "Backflip in a dress ????." Another added, "Not me turning my phone upside down trying to figure out what was happening ????."

A third fan expressed, "That last slide, whoa ?? that a standing back-flip, inna dress, in a tiny circle of ppl." A female fan chimed, "I know this isn't what I think it is? 'A gymnast being a gymnast no matter the situation ?."

"Took me a second to figure out what was happening in the last picture. Flipping in a dress is just next level GOAT things! We need the video!?," requested another.

A staunch supporter wrote, "Not the flip in a dress I know that's rightttt show em girl ❤️ been watching u since I was little u still surprise me ❤️?."  Meanwhile, a fan couldn't believe their eyes after seeing the picture, they inquired, "Ru u doing a whole backflip in a dress and heels ???????!!"

After leaving her fans speechless, she took to her Instagram Story to post a mirror selfie of herself and her teammate Zoe Miller wearing a top and shorts as they settled in their training camp ahead of preparation for their competition. She simply captioned the post, "back at camp ft roomie  @_.zoemiller," alongside a pink heart emoji.

As earlier reported, the Olympic medalist shocked her fans after she revealed she would be partaking in the U.S. Classic in early August following the long break she took from participating in sports activities. Biles attributed her absence from the sports world due to the decision she made to give room for her mental health.

She opened up during an interview, saying, "I'm just very blessed to still be in this position and to have so many people reaching out, showing love and respect for me. It shines a whole new light on the sports and ourselves as not just athletes, but as a human."

While her participation at the U.S. Classic competition is certain, it remains unsure if the 26-year-old intends to compete in the upcoming 2024 Olympics.

Revealing her plans on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" last year she declared, "I think right now, I still have to heal mentally and physically, so I will be in Paris. I just don't know at what role, if that is an athlete or an audience member, so we'll just have to see."

When the most decorated U.S. Women's gymnast isn't being artistic and showing her prowess, she seems to be attending weddings! Earlier this year, Biles and her beau stole the show while attending the wedding of Tavierre Thomas, a former Houston Texans teammate of the NFL player.

Showing off herself and Owens' fashion style on her Instagram page, she uploaded a striking image of the pair looking mesmerizing as wedding guests.

In the photo, Biles donned a bright yellow lace dress, with the top half featuring a corset with visible boning and lace trimming, giving the illusion of a peplum look. 

Meanwhile, the hem of the dress included a thigh-high slit adorned with tiered lace trimmings, giving it a mermaid effect. She styled her black tresses in curly waves while wearing light makeup.

Accessorizing her outfit, she wore a silver necklace, bracelet, clear shoes, and a white bag. On the other hand, the footballer looked trimmed, dressed in a light green suit paired with a gray T-shirt and white shoes. The lovely couple looked so in love as they sweetly embraced each other and had big smiles plastered on their faces.
