Singer Britney Spears was reportedly shocked and angry after she was allegedly slapped in the face by a member of Victor Wembanyama's security team.
One eyewitness to the incident claimed that Britney yelled "This is f---ing America" in a British accent after the slap occurred. Another eyewitness has now come forward claiming that the pop star said she had been "punched" in the face by the Director of Security for the San Antonio Spurs.
Eyewitness Claims Britney Spears Said She Was 'Punched' By Victor Wembanyama's Security Guard
On Wednesday night, the pop star was dining with her husband Sam Asghari, and two other individuals at the Catch restaurant at the ARIA hotel in Las Vegas when the incident took place.
Britney claims that she approached Victor from behind and "tapped" him on the shoulder to ask for a photograph. Victor claims that she "grabbed" him from behind. However it started, it ended with Britney being "backhanded" by a security guard.
On Friday, a new eyewitness spoke to TMZ, claiming that Britney looked "extremely agitated after getting slapped."
The eyewitness, who was dining at the Catch restaurant, said that the pop star walked in and said in a "very animated voice" that the security guard "punched" her in the face. They claim that she then pointed at the security guard, who was reportedly sitting at another table.
The eyewitness claims that one of Britney's security guards went over to Victor's security team and asked the man, who was identified as Damian Smith on the police report, to come over to her table and apologize.
The eyewitness claims that Smith walked over and said "I'm sorry." The eyewitness said that the security guard told Britney that he did not recognize her when he allegedly slapped her.
According to the eyewitness, the "Toxic" singer was "in shock" and "angry" following the exchange. The eyewitness claims Britney said that she couldn't believe what had just happened and headed for the bathroom.
At this time, the extent of the singer's injuries is unclear. However, her security team has filed a police report with the Metropolitan Police Department and it is being handled as a criminal investigation. That being said, it remains to be seen if the case will be handed off to the District Attorney, who will ultimately decide whether or not to press charges against the security guard.

Shortly before the “Stronger” singer gave her statement on social media, Victor Wembanyama spoke out about the incident in a video shared by KENS reporter Nate Ryan on Twitter.
"I saw the news obviously," the 19-year-old basketball star said in the video. "I woke up to a couple of phone calls. Something did happen a little bit when I was walking with some security of the team to some restaurant. We were in a hall and there were a lot of people so people were calling me obviously."
He said he remembered “one person” calling his name repeatedly, but did not stop. He claimed that his security team told him that a large crowd would form if he stopped for even just one person.
"That person grabbed me from behind," Victor continued. "I didn't see what happened because I was walking straight and they told me 'Don't stop.' But that person grabbed me from behind, grabbed on my shoulder. She grabbed me from behind so I just know that the security pushed her away."
"I don't know with how much force but security pushed her away. I didn't stop to look so I kept walking and enjoyed a nice dinner,” he added, mentioning that he “didn’t know” the woman’s identity “for a couple of hours.”
Victor even went as far as to say that he thought the incident was “no big deal” when he returned to the hotel room. It was only after the fact that he was told that Britney Spears was the identity of the woman who had been slapped by his security team.
“First I was like 'No, you're joking.' But yea it turns out it was Britney Spears," he said. "I didn't know because I didn't see her. I never saw her face. I just kept walking straight."
Britney disputes his claim that he was "grabbed" and insisted that she only "tapped" him. Her statement can be read in full here.
