Jessica Simpson Trashes Ozempic Claims In Backless Jeans: "It's Willpower"

Jessica Simpson is done pleasing the world, given that the haters are going to come after her no matter what her body weight.

She now claims that while the negativity does hurt, she's learning to deal with it, and ultimately when it comes to her body weight, it's her body, period!

Jessica Simpson is on the cover of "Bustle" Magazine and it's a different look for her, as she claims, "First time I ever did a push-up in backless jeans!"

The fans and the haters may be continuously shining a light on her weight, or rather right now, the lack of it, but Simpson feels she's fortunate. For her, her weight fluctuations, whatever the reasons behind it, have been an asset. Simpson has yo-yo'd on weight because of hormonal changes, alcohol issues, and even as a side effect from anti-depressants, but she feels being every size has given her a better understanding of women's clothes, as she said, "I am fortunate to have been every size. For [my] brand, understanding the women [who buy our products], and for my psyche."

Of course having basically written a tell-all, "Open Book", Simpson is getting used to more of the brickbats, as she confesses that the negativity hurts but she does not let it derail her, because "I’m too old for that. I am too connected to myself right now to let that derail me. It doesn't mean that it doesn’t hurt.”

That said, she's trolled for being thin now and back when she had piled on the pounds because people cannot help but body shame celebs on social media, safely hidden behind their computer screens.

42-year-old Simpson is doing anything new, professionally, at least not immediately. She did buy her namesake brand back, and apparently, had to borrow some money from her mom to do so. She is planning to return to music, in a slightly roundabout way, and is back to journaling. And she's more than happy to be a mom and wife in the meantime and wants to set a good example for all three tots she shares with ex-NFL star Eric Johnson, Maxwell, 11, Ace, 10, and 4-year-old Birdie Mae. Buying back her company means she's on a slight financial tightrope but Simpson is okay with the struggle as she says, "If they don’t see me following my dreams and fighting for what I believe in — and fighting for who I am and my place in this world — they’ll never do it for themselves. And they’ll just be on Instagram thinking that’s what’s perfect. It’s not."

Of course, she does not deny editing her pictures for social media, but she claims that she's trying to stop, wondering what something like this is doing to her, and what it might do to her daughter.

Meanwhile, many claim that her new skinny look, which some are terming "gaunt" comes from eight loss drug, Ozempic, something many celebrities have openly admitted to using, to help them lose some flab.

Jessica Simpson laughs it off, "Oh Lord. I mean, it is not [Ozempic], it’s willpower. I’m like, do people want me to be drinking again? Because that’s when I was heavier. Or do they want me to be having another baby? My body can’t do it."

Then again, Simpson is trolled for just about every post of hers, so she's just stopped bothering. More power to her!

It's hard not to see Jessica Simpson as the stunningly beautiful woman she is today, with a lovely voice and a body that could put supermodels to shame, but back in '92, she remembered a day when Christina Aguilera managed to intimidate her, though not on purpose.

Apparently, she was auditioning for "Mickey Mouse Club" and planning to sing Amy Grant but she forgot all her lines when she heard Christina Aguilera give her audition! As Simpson remembers it, she found it "very intimidating!"
