The model apparently arrived earlier to join in the celebration of her friend Leah McCarthy's birthday, whereas the "Wolf of Wall Street" actor made a later appearance, dropping in past midnight.

A source confirmed they were seen "talking to each other," and "everyone thought they were together." The insider also noted that the "energy" between the duo was palpable, adding that they had a "vibe."

It is unclear if DiCaprio and Hadid had planned to meet up at the party rather than come together as a covert way to keep fans guessing about the nature of their relationship.

"They tried dating some time ago to see if there could be anything there, but there just wasn't," the source said, per Daily Mail.

"They are friends and have been for so long, but they are not in an open relationship with no-strings-attached."

They added, "He loves to eat greasy burgers and fries to kill the chance of a hangover, but he doesn't stop at just one. He'll down two or even three double cheeseburgers."
