NeNe Leakes Shades Andy Cohen, Shares Her Opinion On Kim Zolciak's Divorce

NeNe Leakes is a supportive friend to recent foe Kim Zolciak. She knows divorce can be rough.

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star knows when to put the petty aside and be there for a shoulder of support. She is doing just that with Zolciak, who is going through a horrible divorce.

The unexpected and traumatic divorce is happening before everyone’s eyes, including Zolciak’s six kids that she shares with estranged ex Kroy Biermann. Leakes was stopped on the streets of Los Angeles and asked her thoughts on the divorce.

When asked how Zolciak was doing, Leakes said she didn’t have a clue, but she “just reached out to her” and is returning the favor because, in the Past, Zolciak had reached out to her former co-star when times were rough.

Leakes admitted that she would imagine that Zolciak is taking the breakdown of her marriage a little rough. “Divorce is not easy,” says Leakes speaking from experience. Fans will recall that Leakes and her late husband, Gregg Leakes, went through a divorce.

They eventually go back together, but at the time, she was furious with Gregg and felt she could be happier without him. The iconic couple got back together and even got a Bravo TV special filming their wedding.

Gregg died in 2021, and the couple were still happy in love. Maybe Kim and Kroy will have the same outcome? They seemed so obsessed with one another; what happened to that version of the Biermann’s?

TMZ asked the fan favorite if there were any chance she would be back on the show, but she didn’t fully shut it down as she had done. It seems like Leakes is softening to the idea. “I would come back for the fans,” she insists.

Leakes also noted the poor ratings that the show has been getting the last few seasons, especially after Porsha Williams exited. “The fans are the ones that love me, they are the ones that love to see me in that position, and I would do anything for them.”

Leakes also allowed to shade Andy Cohen, possibly but not by name. When addressing the weird choice that RHOA editors made this season to crop Leakes out of a flashback scene, she insinuated that it was a move called “reverse psychology.”

The former reality star insisted that those people were following orders from a certain someone above, and while she thought it was “kind of funny and crazy to do,” she had a sneaking suspicion about who was behind it.

“Production does what the orders are, what they get from the top,” she says with some emphasis. “So somebody from the top ordered that to be done, and they did what they were told to do.” Leakes didn’t mince her words. That being said, it wasn’t a solid no! So maybe fans will be seeing Leakes on the show again one day.
