Leave it to new mom Jessie J to make memories with her newborn son, Sky Safir Cornish Colman!
It is no news that the British hitmaker has a son with Danish- Israeli basketball star Chanan Safir Colman. As Jessie basks in her newborn’s presence, she never misses an opportunity to shower him with love.
Recently, the songwriter gifted her boy one souvenir she kept from her 2011 hit song “Price Tag” video.
Jessie J Recreates Heartwarming Moment From Her 2011 Song ‘Price Tag’ With Her Son Sky
The British singer was emotional as she took to Instagram to share a heartwarming moment she waited a long time to recreate with her son. The picture she uploaded showed her adorable boy lounging in the arms of a huge fluffy brown teddy bear.
Sky, dressed in a green and white stripe onesie, was smiling while being comfortable on the giant bear. The cuddly toy had just one eye, and the other eye had an X on it. Sure enough, the teddy bear looked familiar as it was featured in the video of Jessie’s hit 2011 song “Price Tag.”
Captioning the post, Jessie J emotionally revealed, “I kept the bear from the Price Tag video for 13 years for this exact moment. I sobbed taking this picture. Priceless.” Fans wasted no time dropping sweet comments for the singer as she finally fulfilled one of her dreams. Tv personality Daisy Loewe commented, “Oh, how perfect!! Biggest love to you and your gorgeous family.”
One other admirer of the singer rewrote the lyrics to the hit song. The admirer wrote, “It’s not about the money money money . I just need mommy mommy mommy.” A second wisecracker added, “All he needs is a catsuit and a bob wig 💁🏻♀️,” referencing Jessie’s look in the “Price Tag” video.
Since the singer welcomed her boy, she’s been candid about her motherhood journey, sharing how it inspired her songs. A few weeks ago, she detailed how her fertility issues inspired her “Four Letter Word” song. The update was a video compilation of photos of the actress, her boy, and her baby daddy, which was set to the emotional song.
Alongside the clip, the actress penned, “I wrote this song years after being told I couldn’t have children in 2014. In 2015 I was told I needed a hysterectomy to cure the pain I felt most days. I said no, thank you.” While the Grammy nominee neglected her doctor’s opinions, she changed her diet and “took a spiritual healing journey.”
The “Domino” songstress continued her message, highlighting her hope through the tumultuous journey. Before ending her post, the award-winning singer reflected on the song, noting that the track felt “different now.”
The ‘Whistle Down The Wind’ Star Celebrated Her Son’s Six Weeks Milestone
While the “Masterpiece” singer makes memories with her son, she is keen on celebrating every milestone he achieves. A few days ago, Jessie celebrated Sky’s six-week-old milestone, giving fans a view of how big he’s grown.
The carousel of pictures began with an adorable closeup picture of Sky staring wide-eyed at the camera while lying on a bed. The carousel continued with a photo showing off Sky’s growth. Sky sat almost upright on a couch, although he leaned on a pillow.
Of course, the proud mom added bonding moments between her son and his dad in the post. One image showed the newborn sleeping with his body relaxing on his dad, who was also sleeping. And a second unveiled Colman holding his precious son in his arms as they went on a stroll.
The post ended with a funny insight into the songwriter’s life as a new mom. The video captured Jessie J’s Tv screen, which was set to the YouTube app. It showed her search history, which included funny things like “How do babies happen” and “When do babies walk.”
In the caption, Jessie wrote, “6 weeks looks good on your chunk,” and joked about the last slide on the carousel, which showed her YouTube search history.
When Sky also reached the one-month milestone, Jessie celebrated him. At that time, she marked the milestone by debuting his face on Instagram alongside his name. The video the Brit Award winner uploaded contained times from her birthing Sky and his early days bonding with her and Colman.
Captioning the clip, the doting mom wrote, “Tomorrow you will be a month old. It’s felt like one long best day of my entire life. Mummy and Daddy love you more than anything, baby boy.”
