Alix Earle Enjoys Low-Key Dinner Date With Braxton Berrios Amid Sophia Culpo Split Drama

TikTok star Alix Earle is enjoying a dinner date with NFL star Braxton Berrios amid his split from "The Culpo Sisters" reality star Sophia Culpo.

Sophia had said that "betrayal" led to the end of her relationship and later cast doubt on the timeline that the Miami Dolphins wide receiver gave on the end of their relationship, leading some fans to believe that he had cheated on the reality star.

Last week, Alix took to TikTok to share a video that featured her embracing a shirtless man in her bed. Many assumed that Braxton was the man in question and Alix did not deny it. Instead, she added more fuel to the fire by sharing a video that featured only body parts of a man cooking dinner during a low-key date night.

The social media sensation shared a video set to The Strokes’ hit song “Someday” that features Alix and her new beau cuddled up on the balcony before they try to cook dinner together. Braxton’s face is never clearly shown in the video, although many hazardous cooking mistakes are. It seems things didn’t quite go according to plan, as the couple ended up ordering chipotle despite appearing to have made several skewers with rice.

“Fun date night idea … except we ended up ordering chipotle HAHAHA,” she wrote in the caption along with the hashtags @grwm, #grilling, #summernights, #dateidea, and #miami. One fan commented, “The private but not secret relationship.” Another follower wrote, “This is the kind of love you deserve! You’re glowing!” However, a third fan chimed in, “Sophia got them receipts girl.”

In an Instagram Story posted last week, the 27-year-old athlete said that his relationship was already over in January, although Sophia has texts that prove that is not quite true. “I don’t want to start anything. I don’t want to fuel anything,” he said in the video, which was transcribed by Page Six. “I genuinely want all of this to be over and everybody to move on and do whatever makes them happy.”

“I was in a relationship for two years," he continued. "It was a good relationship, it was a healthy one. And towards the end of it, we had conversations along the lines of we just weren’t working out. So when we split back in January, that’s why.” Berrios claimed that the split "had nothing to do with anybody else." He said his relationship with Sophia "just didn't work out and that's okay."

He added, “It’s been very weird and sad to see kind of what’s gone on since then. I’ve been quiet because it’s totally out of character for me to talk about my private life, publicly. But I feel like it needed to be touched on now.” He made no mention of Alix Earle in his lengthy statement.

However, Sophia posted screenshots to show that wasn't exactly true that the couple had called it quits in January. In one screenshot dated January 31, Sophia wrote, “It seems like you’ve contemplated the alternative though.” Braxton replies: “No I haven’t. Don’t read into that.”

“Ok so you want to be with me,” Sophia writes, to which he responded, “Yes I want to be with you.” Sophia liked the comment before she wrote, “Ok back to serious talk.” He replied, “HAHAHA I’m going to the hurricanes bball game with rob in 30.”

In screenshots that are dated February 11, just under two weeks later, Sophia sent a message to Braxton that read: “I really hope it doesn’t blow up any more but that’s not in my control. What will be will be. And okay just lmk.”

Braxton responded: “It won’t. And I’ll do everything in my power to make sure of it. Cause I don’t want to be associated with anything like that obviously. You don’t deserve that and frankly neither do I.”

“The real timeline. We broke up after the Drake concert at Super Bowl weekend where he was seen making out with another girl," Sophia wrote over the photo. "Not bitter, in fact I know this situation has been one of my biggest blessings. I wish everyone in this situation all the best, including myself which is why I’m here to share the truth so I can officially be done with all of this. All love.”
