Alec Baldwin Jokes That He Bought Wife Hilaria Baldwin A Spatula For 11-Year Anniversary

It seems almost impossible to believe that actor Alec Baldwin married his wife, former yoga instructor Hilaria Baldwin, eleven years ago!

The couple tied the knot in 2012 and welcomed their first child, a daughter named Carmen, the following year. Six more children followed; their youngest, a daughter named Ilaria, was born just last September.

Both celebrities have never been shy about sharing their romance on social media and had no problems letting their followers know that they were celebrating eleven years together on Friday night!

On Friday night, the “30 Rock” actor shared a single photo of a spatula sitting on a kitchen counter. “11 years today. That means steel. She bought me a grill. (suburban dad that I am) I bought her this,” he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.

“I know. Crazy, right? What can I say? I’m in love. Happy anniversary, @hilariabaldwin,” he added. Plenty of followers showered the post with messages of “Happy Anniversary” while one fan called it a “perfect gift.” Another follower shared, “I bought my husband a grill for our 11th.”

“You two are just so incredible and I love it. Keep on going!!! And I'm not talking about the babies...” a third fan chimed in. “Looks right out of the ’70s. Happy Anniversary you two wild kids,” another follower commented. “I'll bet you charmed the pants right off her with that!!!!” another fan teased.

On Saturday morning, the actor took to Instagram yet again to share a photo of the two about to share a kiss on their wedding day.

In the caption, he wrote, "11 years and a day..." One fan joked, "And almost as mamy babies! Happy Anniversary you lovebirds!"

Earlier in the day, the Boston native, who was born Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas, took to Instagram to share a photo of her sitting on a desk, admiring her husband, who is also sitting on the desk. He is wearing a suit and tie but seems to have forgotten his trousers!

“Happy 11th anniversary, Jack….Pre kids I would visit you on 30 rock and prank you with that hidden cupboard behind. You had no pants…then we had 7 kids. well here is to 11 more…years…maybe kids too…definitely cats,” she wrote.

“18 kids? 18? That’s not a baseball team. That’s a baseball game!!!” Alec joked in the caption, although lots of fans have nothing but love for their large family. “You two definitely have created a life full of lots of love!” one fan commented. “Love this couple and everything they demonstrate,” another follower shared as fans showered her post with more “Happy Anniversary!” messages.

Alec and Hilaria share seven children together: Ilaria Catalina Irena, 9 months, María Lucía Victoria, 2, Eduardo ‘Edu’ Pao, 2, Romeo, 5, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 6, Rafael Thomas, 8, and Carmen Gabriela, 9. With so many children so close in age, fans are wondering if Hilaria plans to have any more children.

In a June 2023 Romper cover story, the podcast host said that Ilaria is “probably, most definitely, almost completely my last baby.” Given that response, it sounds like she is leaving the door open for more children.

“I’m always afraid to say it. I was putting away my maternity clothes recently and was like, ‘I’m afraid to give them away because then I’ll find out I’m pregnant,’” she added.

Although some followers have suggested that she use birth control to limit the number of children she produces, it is not something that Hilaria is considering at the moment. “I feel awful when I’m on birth control; it makes me depressed,” she told the publication.

That being said, she isn’t the only one who has to consider birth control. The actor could always have a vasectomy, but it seems that the “Supercell” actor is not considering it at this time.

“Every single time I have a baby, my OB writes down the vasectomy doctor on a Post-it, and I bring it home to Alec,” Hilaria said, adding, “He hasn’t done it yet.”

On May 30, Hilaria took to Instagram to reveal that the 65-year-old actor finally had his hip surgery.” Alec got a new hip today…it was a long time necessary. We have been through so much together…as your partner and as you heal, I want so very much for you to leave this very intense chronic pain chapter behind and improve your quality of life,” she wrote in the caption.

“Grateful to Dr Davidovitch, Dr Miller, Dr Golden, Dr. Furgiuele, the nurses, pt, ot, staff and the other amazing people who so generously are bringing him safely through this,” she added. In the comments, Alec responded, “And you. Thanks to you.”
