Hailey Bieber has revealed that she had nothing to do with the rumored feud between her and singer Selena Gomez.

The model, who is married to pop star Justin Bieber, Gomez's ex, noted in a recent interview that the drama came from "completely made-up and twisted" narratives, which didn't mean well for both of them.

It comes after Gomez told her fans on Instagram to quit bullying Hailey after noting that the Rhodes Founder reached out to her over death threats she had received from Selenators.

Speaking on Bloomberg's The Circuit on Thursday, Hailey opened up about an alleged feud with her husband's ex, Gomez.

"I don't think that this is about me, Hailey Bieber, and Selena Gomez," the 26-year-old said, per People magazine.

"This is not about this pitting between two women — it's about the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made-up and twisted, and perpetuated narratives that can be really dangerous."

Despite the rumored feud leading to a lot of exchanges of words between fans of both parties, Hailey still believes that something positive can emerge from it all.

"I think that it's an opportunity to really stand for bringing people together and not being okay with the kind of division that it caused, because I'm not okay with [it]," the Rhodes Founder said, adding that she doesn't "like this whole idea of team this person and team this person."

Hailey and Gomez have been rumored to be at loggerheads for years, primarily due to her husband, Justin, not ending up with the "Calm Down" crooner, whom he dated on and off from 2010 till 2018.

While it has kept both women in the news, Hailey isn't pleased about the publicity, as it involves pitting her against Gomez "because of a man."

"I hate it," Bieber said. "I've hated it since the beginning and it goes back to being misunderstood. Time and time again I say there is no issue and it's so disappointing that people still behave this way over a man."

Explaining further why she is dissatisfied with the entire ordeal, the model revealed she is concerned with how it will affect her Rhodes brand.

Hailey made moves to reach out to Gomez to help squash the feud rumors, especially after she started receiving death threats from aggrieved Selenators.

Hence, Gomez penned an emotional post to her fans in March, begging them to tone it all down as she does not stand for "hate or bullying."

"Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity," Gomez wrote at the time on her Instagram page.

"This isn't what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying," she continued. "I've always advocated for kindness and really want this to all stop."

In return for her gesture, Hailey thanked Gomez in a post on her Instagram Story on the same day the singer called her fans to order.

"The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved, and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this, which is extremely harmful," said the model, who noted at the time that she had spoken several times with Gomez in a bid to end the feuding narrative between them.

"While social media is an incredible way to connect and build community, moments like this only create extreme division instead of bringing people together," Hailey continued.

It remains to be seen if the heartfelt posts from Hailey and Gomez will be enough to dispel the rumors. However, Hailey appears ready to keep reiterating her message, as she told her Instagram fans earlier this month not to leave "mean or rude comments on her behalf on anyone's posts."
