Just when you think the Costner v. Costner fight couldn’t get any messier the actor and his wife have proven fans wrong.

Kevin Costner is striking Christine Costner where it seems to be the most important to her; in her designer bag! The actor has cut his wife off from one of her major sources of income a credit card.

Plus, he has drastically limited her use of another credit card. All this comes as Christine has been hunkering down in the $145 million marital home. Up until recently, she has refused to leave.

This goes against the ironclad prenuptial agreement that Christine agreed to and signed ahead of marrying the world-famous actor. Allegedly if Christine had just moved out, it wouldn’t have gone this far.

The mom of three was really standing her ground there for a minute when she refused to leave the home. She allegedly felt as though she deserved more than what the prenup would end up giving her and this was her solution.

It was reported by Radar Online that Christine, the one who wanted out of the marriage and filed for divorce used one of the credit cards in question to retain her lawyer, John R. Rydell II. She specifically wants this lawyer as he has been known to get the job done in the past.

She needs someone bull-headed to get the prenup looked at and POSSIBLY changed. Sources claim the legal doc is top-of-the-line and doesn’t offer wiggle room.

The housewife is claiming that she relies on Kevin’s income and those credit cards. She alleges She has “ZERO personal income” since she has been a housewife and stay-at-home mom for the last 18 years.

“I have no ability to procure a lease or pay rent, I cannot provide proof of personal income or personal assets. No landlord will rent to me without these things,” claims Christine. She insists that Kevin promised on a sworn declaration to maintain a financial “status quo” while the divorce was taking place.

“He canceled one of my credit cards, and substantially reduced my credit limit on my second credit card far below the status quo levels, all without any advance notice to me.”

Kevin has shared his concerns over his money going missing thanks to Christine, so it’s not a surprise that he made this move. Christine allegedly used $95,000 from his personal bank account and a credit card.

Kevin has shared via his lawyer Laura Wasser that he has already given Christine more than $1 million as part of a pre-martial agreement so she can find her own place to live with the kids. She had a timeline of 30 days to vacate and over a month later and she has just decided she will leave.

“Christine now has available to her approximately $1,450,000 which she can use at her discretion, including to find alternative housing,” says Kevin. And that doesn’t include child support. Christine’s latest money request involves a bold $248k in child support for their kids, ages 16, 14, and 13. Her reason? They are used to that lifestyle now.
