Madonna’s eldest daughter Lourdes Leon was the first child to be by her mom’s side when the incident occurred, and the singer’s adopted children were likely there shortly after because they live with the star.

Adopted son David was seen walking the streets of New York. Some have speculated that, like his brother, he is heading to make sure his mom is fine.

The singer scared her family and fans when news broke that she had been in the hospital with a serious bacterial infection. Her long-time manager Guy O’Seary posted a message on his Instagram detailing the “Vogue” singer’s condition.

“On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU,” he wrote. “Her health is improving; however, she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.”

O’Seary broke the news that Madonna, who was about to go on tour starting early July, would need to put a halt on that and other activities.

“At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.”

Speaking of the tour, this would have been the singer’s biggest tour since her show at the O2 Arena in London years ago. So, this tour is kind of a big deal. She has been allowing fans a little bit of behind-the-scenes snaps and videos of her tour prep.

She also recently debuted a new song with Sam Smith. A raging pop song, which is sure to be a viral hit. And, keep in mind, Madonna is 64. At this point, let’s call it a young 64 because the height of her high kick is phenomenal.

So needless to say, it will take a lot to hold Madonna down. She is already home and able to recover in comfort this will surely help her body get back into touring shape. Well, at least fans are hoping that will be the avenue she takes.

She will surely be back, but, as of now, reports are confirming that the entertainer is laid up and resting. Although she is out of the ICU, she has a lot of recovering to do and there is no confirmed date on when she will be back.

Those “12-hour days” allegedly got to the dedicated singer and while she looks like she is having the time of her life in rehearsals, it may be that her body is telling her to take a little bit of a break!
