'Live With Kelly & Mark': Not Live And Not With Mark These Days...

Live With Kelly and Markis not so live and not so much Kelly and Mark as it is Kelly and Ryan amid fan complaints about too much PDA between the new show hosts!

The popular morning talk show has been focused on long-time host Kelly Ripa and her new co-host, husband Mark Consuelos. But all week it has been reruns of Live With Kelly and Ryan. As fans will remember, Seacrest left the show at the top of the year.

He was focused on his other jobs as host of American Idol, his radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest; and Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. He also has a charity foundation, Ryan Seacrest Foundation Studios that he wanted to dedicate more time to.

Fans initially speculated that the duo had fallen out and Seacrest was making a swift exit because, Ripa has the seniority and was the star anyway, plus look at everything else he has going on.

The addition of Consuelos was exciting at first for fans but soon they realized that the couple was a little bit too lovey-dovey for their morning coffee. They have stormed social media bashing the overuse of PDA and sharing way too at-home details.

“Kelly And Mark show is just dumb! This morning they were talking about how Mark snores at night! Had to instantly change the channel at my job,” one fam tweeted.

A second fan tweeted. “I don't see this show lasting... I'm not interested in watching a spinoff of NY Housewives....”

Some people admitted that they never wanted Consuelos as a replacement, and they could have predicted the show would turn into this!

Fans have hopped on Twitter sharing their annoyance over the live show not being live at all. “Wow it's now 6 days in a row of Live with Kelly & Mark, except it's not live (previously recorded) and no Mark. It's the old shows with Ryan Seacrest. And if you watch him introduce the day, the mouth isn't in sync with the words, so they dubbed in today's date. WTF??”

Another fan agreed. “They haven't done an entire week's worth of live shows since Mark started. They should rename it live a few times a month or random live mornings with Kelly and Mark.”

By today, another fan had expected it would go this way. “OMG!! Another day of Live with Kelly & Mark, except it stated, " previously recorded " So this is 5 days in a row. Are they no longer doing live shows??”

Meanwhile, over in Seacrest’s neck of the woods, life seems to be going well. This week he announced that he will be taking over as host of Wheel of Fortune from Pat Sajak. The longtime host announced his retirement and Seacrest snagged another job.

Seacrest’s reign will begin in 2024 “I can’t wait to continue the tradition of spinning the wheel and working alongside the great Vanna White,” Seacrest wrote on Twitter.
