Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter, hotshot Elon Musk is dead serious about his upcoming fight with the man behind Facebook and Instagram parent company, Mark Zuckerberg if Lex Fridman is to be believed.

Fridman, a Russian-American computer scientist, podcaster, and artificial intelligence researcher went head-to-head with Musk soon after a session with Zuckerberg, and here's what he had to say.

In a video put up by Fridman on his YouTube channel, he's seen training in some jiu-jitsu with Zuckerberg, as he wrote, "Mark Zuckerberg and I trained some jiu-jitsu after our most recent podcast conversation. It's inspiring to see both Mark and Elon taking on the martial arts journey. I look forward to training with both of them in the months and years to come. For context, I'm a black belt in jiu-jitsu and have been doing it for over 15 years, and also judo and wrestling for 10 more."

Both seemed equally matched on the mat given that Zuckerberg excels in mixed martial arts (MMA) and has recently won jiu-jitsu tournaments. Zuckerberg took up martial arts training during COVID, and even told Vice, "MMA is the perfect thing. After an hour or two of working out, or rolling or wrestling with friends, or training with different folks, it's like now I'm ready to go solve whatever problem at work for the day."

This Is How Elon Musk Vs. Mark Zuckerberg Became A Reality

A week ago, a Twitter user posted about a new Twitter rival, called "Threads" as an upcoming product from Meta, and wondered if Twitter will finally have decent competition.

Musk soon responded to the Tweet, writing, "I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options. At least it will be ‘sane’. Was worried there for a moment 😅."

Another Twitter user joined in the conversation, warning Musk, "Better be careful @elonmusk I heard he does the jujitsu now 😆🤣😂😹😆🤣😂😹😆."

Musk threw down the gauntlet!

Not to be outdone, Zuckerberg posted a screenshot of this Twitter exchange on his Instagram Story, pictured below:

Musk responded a while later with another tweet that read, "Vegas Octagon,” referring to the most popular location for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) matches.

He was also more than happy to share his ace move, but we doubt it scares Zuckerberg!

If we do think about the actual fight, 51-year-old Musk definitely has the upper hand in size given he's taller and heavier than the 39-year-old Meta owner.

Plus, as per Musk, he's been in hard-core street fights. That said, Zuckerberg seems to be an MMA champ so watching the two grit it out might be as good as it gets.

Barely a couple of days after Fridman trained with Zuckerberg, it seems he and Elon Musk got into a friendly match where Musk got to show off his prowess by slamming Fridman onto the mat, bulging muscles and tendons and all!

Fridman seemed blown away, as he wrote, "I did an impromptu training session with Elon Musk for a few hours yesterday. I'm extremely impressed with his strength, power, and skill, on the feet and on the ground. It was epic."

He was also quick to laud Zuckerberg, but at the same time also felt that the "cage fight" isn't really the way to go, writing, "It's really inspiring to see Elon and @zuck doing martial arts, but I think the world is served far better if they train martial arts but not fight in the cage. That said, as Elon says, the most entertaining outcome is the most likely... I'm there for them, no matter what."

Here's another glimpse of Musk, and it shows that the Twitter owner means business, even on the mat!
