Zayn Malik Wipes Social Media Revving For New Music!

Zayn Malik is paying no heed to the "are they, aren't they" dating rumors between him and Selena Gomez and instead has wiped out all his social media accounts as he gets ready to put put some new music.

Former One Direction member Zayn Malik just signed a new record deal with Mercury Records, and along with this news which he posted on his IG Story, the singer wiped his social media too, erasing all past posts and tweets as he gears up for something new.

Zayn was previously with RCA Records but was dropped in October 2021. Now, after the relaunch of Mercury Records as a U.S. imprint of Republic Records, helmed by President Tyler Arnold and GM Ben Adelson, they are excited to have Zayn aboard.

As reported by Billboard, Arnold stated, “As soon as Zayn and I met, I knew we had to work together. I was blown away by the new music, but just as impressed by his vision, drive, and spirit. We’re honored he and his team have joined us at Mercury Records. We’ve got an incredible opportunity to tell the next chapter of his story together.”

Mercury Records boasts a roster of impressive artists like Post Malone, James Bay, BoyWithUke, and Jeremy Zucker among others. Meanwhile, Zayn is launching his new debut single “very soon this summer” and here’s a new pre-save link for the fans! Guess his female fans will have a hot girl summer.

Hours after Zayn wiped off his social media accounts leaving them blank, he dropped in the news of his signing up with Mercury Records and dropped in a new teaser that shows him on a motorcycle, wearing a helmet and revving up the machine.

The video, on Instagram, has racked up more than 2.9 million likes and fans are writing up a frenzy of comments, showing him how excited they are for the new music. Zayn also delighted fans by joining TikTok and instantly received a lot of love from fans on the short video-making platform.

The one thing fans kept wondering about was why Malik, rumored to be dating Selena Gomez, had unfollowed her on social media. What's even more interesting is that even Gomez has gone ahead and unfollowed him as well as his baby mama, Gigi Hadid.

As a solo artist, Zayn has had three records to his name, "Mind of Mine" in 2016, "Icarus Falls" in 2018 and finally, "Nobody is Listening" in 2021. Two of his songs peaked in the top 10 with "Pillowtalk" at No. 1, and "I Don’t Wanna Live Forever" at second place.

The new album, it seems, will be a marked departure from any of his songs to date.

Just before he wiped everything out, Zayn Malik, who often goes by only his first name, ZAYN, treated his fans to a shirtless thirst trap, with a classic bodybuilding pose. He had a cigarette in his mouth and wore a couple of chains around his neck, along with a watch and a bracelet. The singer sported a lean body, having bulked up a little from before but still retaining his youthful silhouette.

Fans noticed one eagle-eyed detail, "the eyes are gone!"

Zayn had famously tattooed Gigi Hadid's eyes on his chest, just below his heart but now that the two are no longer a couple, the eyes are gone with the singer having inked in the eyes with more details. The two co-parent their daughter Khai together.

Meanwhile, fans were also noticing that Zayn was in his "active era" with a whole lot of new posts before he deleted them all, as they left Malik several comments:

"You don’t even have to try to look this hot."

"Zayn in his active era."

"Am I seeing this right? Zayn Malik posted 2 pics in one day. Plus he put a story. Is this a dream?"

Now, with new music coming it's certainly not a dream as fans eagerly wait to hear from Zayn himself, preferably via a song than comments.
