Shanna Moakler Credits Another Kardashian Sister For Ending Marriage With Travis Barker

Shanna Moakler has targeted a message at the Kardashians again!

Following her ex-husband, Travis Barker's involvement with — and recent marriage to — Kourtney Kardashian, the model has become more vocal about her dislike for the famous reality family, who shot to the limelight after Kim's sex tape went viral in 2007.

In her latest tirade, Moakler has blamed one of the Kardashian women for the demise of her four-year union to Barker, and it is not the media personality married to her former man.

Moakler was in her element when she responded to a fan's comment with the name of the woman responsible for the end of her marriage to Barker. The drama began after the first runner-up at Miss USA 1995 posted a close view of herself in a leopard one-piece featuring a deep v-neckline and a giant midriff cutout highlighting her cleavage and toned belly. 

She captioned the post, "Namaste b**ches ⚓️??‍♀️❤️," garnering thousands of likes. While most of the post's comments were accolades from her fans, one netizen focused more on what the pageant queen should have done romantically. 

They typed, "You should've stayed with Travis you'd have a lot more $$$ and living in a big home." "and imagine I walked away from that for happiness," Moakler penned in response.

The Miss Utah USA franchise owner's reply prompted the commenter to query, "he didn't make you happy? He seems like the type that does everything for his wife and kids." Setting the record straight, she replied, "I left because of Kim." 

Although there was no extra effort from the reality television star, the clap back resonated with her fans, and they gave it over 40 likes. While we wait to see if the "Pacific Blue" actress will offer more insight into the statement, it is worth noting that her and Barker's relationship disintegrated after they began filming their hit reality series, "Meet the Barkers."

During the MTV show, fans saw the former lovebirds fighting, making up, and making out before their eventual separation in 2006. From then on, the couple began attacking each other publicly, with Barker alleging that Moakler was lazy and had cheated on him.  

In turn, the 48-year-old informed media outlets that she was worried about the Blink-182 drummer's mental health and hoped he would seek professional assistance. An insider had told PEOPLE at the time:

"This was very normal for them. The relationship was always dysfunctional; they were always love and hate. It was volatile. He's a rock star, and she likes to go out. They both love and fight hard."

Despite their divorce being finalized in 2008, the pair continued living together because it made things easier for their family. However, that move was revisited in 2014 following Moakler's call to the Los Angeles Police Department to report that her ex-husband had allegedly threatened to "put a bullet in your head" during one of their arguments. 

She then requested a revision of her and Barker's joint custody agreement for their two kids — daughter Alabama and son Landon. The duo has seemingly continued to share custody of the children, with their 2018 child custody evaluation getting — and remaining — sealed.

Barker's relationship with his current wife intensely developed during the global lockdown after many years of being friends. The pair eventually took things a step further, with the rocker popping the question with a $1 million engagement bling in a romantic beach display in October 2021.

Their wedding was also the talk of social media, as they first had a "practice" wedding in Las Vegas, a legal ceremony with Barker's father and Kourtney's grandmother as their witnesses, and a grand affair in Italy later.

Despite the romance of it all, multiple observers have yet to get over the +44 rock band founder allegedly dating Kim before he relocated to Calabasas following his divorce from Moakler.

Buzzfeed recalled that he had admitted to having a massive "crush" on the now-mother-of-four before claiming that she was "f**king hot" in his 2015 book, "Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums." He additionally spoke about his feelings for Kim after he had spent time with her during a trip with her and his then-partner, Paris Hilton, gushing:

"How could you not stare at Kim? Mind you, I enjoyed hanging out with Paris, but I love curvy girls. Kim was eye candy. I was in no way disrespectful to Paris, but I couldn't keep my eyes off Kim."

Barker has since denied following through on the alleged fling with Kim.
