The recent Titan Submersible tragedy has been on everyone's mind for the past week due to how it played out online.
Grammy award-winning artist Adele recently asked the audience of her Las Vegas residency about the catastrophic incident while offering her own 2 cents on it.

Adele Paused Her Concert To Ask About The Titan Submersible
According to the Daily Mail, during Adele's recent performance for her Las Vegas residency, she paused to discuss the recent Titan Submersible tragedy. The singer asked her audience if they would have ever gone on a trip to see the wreckage of the Titanic, which rests on the ocean floor. The video of Adele asking the question was uploaded on TikTok by one of the fans present.
The Titan sub tragedy was the death of five passengers in a submersible going to view the Titanic ship remains. Adele said, "Before this week, how many people, if they could, would go down to the bottom of the ocean to see the Titanic? Raise your hands."
When it was clear that those who would have taken the trip were the minority, she said it wasn't surprising that most of her fans voted against going on the risky journey to the bottom of the ocean.
Adele Calls Herself A 'Scaredy Cat'
Adele also asked her fans if anyone would consider taking a rocket ship trip to explore outer space. To this question, most of the audience members also indicated that they wouldn't take the risk, so she said, "I wouldn't do either, but only because I'm a bit of a p**sy. I'm a scaredy cat."
The "Love in the Dark" singer then revealed that she doesn't even take rollercoaster rides because of her fear before adding that she genuinely doesn't "have an interest in the deep sea or space, so that's why."
Despite her aversion to seeing the ship, Adele is a big fan of the Titanic. Per the Daily Mail, the singer famously had a Titanic-themed party to celebrate her 30th birthday in 2018, at which she dressed as Rose.
After the party, Adele made a social media post thanking her "family and friends for entertaining" her "fandom of the Titanic movie." She wrote, "Last night was the best night of my life. I'm f**ked, not sure I'll make it out of the house again."
Adele's Residency Has Revived Her
In March this year, Adele reflected on her Las Vegas residency and said it has brought her "back to life." At one of her performances earlier this year, the singer stopped to speak to her audience.
She said, "I feel so safe in here. My life is tiny. I don't leave my house and that's by choice. My life used to be massive when I was younger. But the bigger my career has got, the more scared and anxious I have become."
Adele said that she looks forward to "coming [to Vegas]" every weekend because it "feels like having a night out and seeing my friends." She added, "I usually get butterflies and get nervous and I say a little stage prayer and cross my fingers, but I don't get anxious with these shows. It has been the best four months of my career. This show has brought me so much joy. I have loved doing it."
She's Extending Her Las Vegas Residency
Later in the concert, Adele also spoke about the last-minute cancellation of her shows last year. She called it the "worst thing I'd ever felt in my career" but declared that she has bounced back and "as usual, I smashed it."
The "I Drink Wine" singer also revealed that she's extending the dates of her residency. Per the Daily Mail, she said, "Performing to four thousand people for 34 nights is not enough. And I know it's not enough, so I am coming back."
Adele also surprised her fans further by revealing that she was filming a concert documentary for the residency. She said, "And after a few weeks in June, I'm going to film it, and I'm going to release it to make sure that anyone that wants to see it can see the show."
