Bebe Rexha Reveals She's 'So Sick Of People' Constantly Talking About Her Weight Gain: 'I Know I Got Fat'

Rexha, who has been open about her journey towards self-acceptance and body positivity, revealed that she gained around 30 pounds in the past few months after suffering polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). 

However, instead of receiving support and understanding, she has been subjected to criticism and judgment from trolls.

Not having it with the narrative anymore, Rexha took to Twitter to passionately express her frustration, stating, "I know I got fat. I'm just so sick of people talking about it. NEXT!!!!!!"

In another tweet, the "Call on Me" singer wrote, "Human beings go through weight fluctuations, it's life, and you don't know what people are going through. Meds, disease, etc."

The pop star's candid remarks struck a chord with her loyal fan base, who took to the comment section of her post to voice their support and admiration for her.

A fan said, "Absolutely ridiculous that people always have something to say. You are gorgeous and so accomplished. Let those haters be jealous."

In a shocking turn of events, the 33-year-old singer was recently hit in the face by a thrown cell phone during a performance in New York City.

The incident occurred during her "Best F'n Night Of My Life" tour concert at The Rooftop at Pier 17, leaving the pop star visibly startled and prompting widespread concern among fans and spectators.

Known for her energetic stage presence and passionate performances, Rexha was entertaining a packed crowd when a person in the audience hurled a cell phone in her direction. The unexpected projectile struck the singer in the face, causing a brief disruption in the show and leaving Rexha momentarily stunned.

Eyewitnesses immediately reported the suspect as security personnel swiftly intervened, escorting the offender out of the venue.

"On Sunday, June 18, 2023, at approximately 2200 hours, police were notified of an assault that occurred at the concert space of Pier 17 located at 89 South Street, within the confines of the 1st Precinct," a spokesperson for the NYPD said, per Daily Mail.

They continued, "A preliminary investigation on scene determined that a 27-year-old male intentionally threw a cell phone at a 33-year-old female performer on stage, striking her about the face."

"The individual was taken into custody on scene and removed to the 1st Precinct for arrest processing. The aided female was removed by EMS to an area hospital in stable condition," the spokesperson added.

Rexha declared that she was "much better" following the shocking incident where she was hit in the face with a cell phone in New York City.

After a fan asked about her recovery from the distressing incident, Rexha took to Twitter to provide an update and assure her followers of her well-being.

"My eye black and blue now but much better!!!! Thank you!!!" she said, alongside a close-up photo of her eye, which was visibly injured and had a plaster on.

In a heartfelt message, she expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support she received and reassured everyone that she was doing better.

"Also, I want to shout out all the people who have been supporting me and showing me love. Thank you," Rexha wrote.
