Peta Murgatroyd & Maksim Chmerkovskiy Joke About Needing 'One More' Days After Birth Of 2nd Son

"Dancing With The Stars" pros Peta Murgatroyd & Maksim Chmerkovskiy share an inside joke about having more babies still fresh from the delivery room. 

Apart from integrating their love of dance in sweet family videos, the professional dancers, now parents of two adorable boys, Shai and Rio, are fond of sharing hilarious clips on Instagram occasionally. In the couple's latest joint post, they poked fun at Chmerkovskiy's request for more babies days after Murgatroyd expanded their family with the birth of their second son. 

As usual, the Reel video posted on Thursday showed the parents of two having a swell time together while revealing a humorous insight into their present situation. The clip tagged with "My husband right after I give birth," on screen, saw the doting husband moving his lips silently in synchronization with a pre-recorded soundtrack, suggesting they have "one more" baby.

At the same time, his wife reacted with confusion and frustration. Maks donned a white polo shirt and black pants with a baseball hat and holds their newborn son. The voice-over said, "Do you think we need more? You think we need one more." 

The post, transiting between the pair, displayed the "Burn the Floor" star's bewilderment at her beau's request as she looked up from her phone. After that, Peta is seen in the hospital bed about to deliver as her stomach is encircled with a birthing device. Immediately after, the voice said, "Alright, we'll get one more," pushing the mom of two to throw her head back. In the caption, Peta penned:

"@maksimc literally straight after birth ? Anyone else [experienced] this? Lol #anotherone #familyoffour ?."

Many of the actress' admirers began sharing relatable experiences in the comments. Jenna Johnson noted, "Literally Val as I pushed Rome out...?." "My husband asked for one more an hour after we found out we were having our third girl lol," one fan wrote. A second follower reacted, "I'm laughing so hard I almost blew my tea out of my nose! ?.”

"When I was leaving the hospital, my husband said to the nurse pushing my wheelchair, "See you next year," another fan chimed in. A fourth typed, "That does not surprise me. It's that new baby high. He'll come to his senses soon enough. ?.”

It is not surprising that the Latin ballroom dance champion is overhyped for more children, as he was so proud to welcome his newest addition on Father's Day. Overwhelmed with joy, the father of two shared his infant's first photo but blurred the little one's face.

The post featuring Etta James' song, "At Last," showed the brewing affection between the father and son duo. He held his newborn, wrapped in a pastel blue blanket, and stared lovingly at him. The fantastic father wore a white polo shirt with his dark hair spiked around.

The Ukrainian-American captioned the photo, "Happy Father's Day to me! #MadeInPeta." After, DWTS alums and fans shared their congratulations in the comments. “OMG YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!! On Father's Day!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️," Emma Slater penned while another person gushed:

"Happy Father's Day, Maks! What a gift! What a blessing!! [I] Hope Peta is doing well. Shai is going to be the best big brother ever! [four red heart emojis]."

Unlike her husband, who now wants more babies, the "DWTS" season 22 winner, before her due date, was more consumed with sad emotions over her children maturing from their toddler years.

The then-expecting mother shared an incredible tone clip characterizing how children leave voids in the household after they grow up. The video showed how the bathroom becomes dry and less used and how untidy spaces, fingerprints on the fridge, and Lego toys lying on the floor are never seen around the house when kids outgrow that dependent phase.

After the Australian native posted the heart-jerking post, she expressed sadness in the caption. Murgatroyd wrote she sobbed when she saw the video; then mentioned that though trying to keep her home clean, she will miss the days she doesn't have to. In her words:

"This just made me weep… I'm always striving to have the cleanest house, nothing on the counters, toys perfectly placed on she, etc.….but knowing this day will eventually come[,] my heart literally aches….I know I will miss the mess, the craziness…the utter mental/ physical exhaustion."
