While promoting her latest Gen-Z fragrance, Eilish No 2, the "Happier Than Ever" artist expressed her concerns about trolls to British Vogue. After years of enduring the public's harsh opinions, the media personality wished people would understand the beauty of being multifaceted.

"I spent most of my life being very masculine and boyish, and recently, in the last couple of years, was kind of like, 'You know what, I'm allowed to be whatever I want to be when I want to be it,'" the blue-eyed goddess explained.

According to the Teen Choice Award winner, she could not be confined in a box as the fluidity of her transitions did not require any labels. Stating that she was not changing for anyone's approval but staying true to herself, the 21-year-old continued:

"I don't need to always prove to everyone that I'm a tomboy. That is what I am, but I also am this kind of girl. I'm also feminine, and I'm also sexy, and I'm also cute, and I'm also just like, none of the above, and I'm just me."

When the "Bad Guy" songstress stepped into the spotlight, most of the attention she garnered was over her unique style. From baggy outfits to oversized clothing, the Los Angeles beauty was a breath of fresh air in an industry full of sex symbols.

However, the tomboy look was not the only side of the Oscar winner, who confessed she wanted to explore her "hyper-femininity." Despite her interest in this more dainty version of herself, the chart-topper was scared to embrace the change.

"I'm trying to be more comfortable wearing make-up, like a lot of make-up," Eilish revealed. "I wear a little make-up all the time, but it's just like, big faces of make-up… it's something that I look up to and admire, and for me, I'm like so scared of it."

Fans might be surprised to learn the "Bury a Friend" singer had fears, given her apparent confidence and unbothered nature. However, her once impenetrable armor had been slowly chipped away over the years by never-ending criticisms and online body shaming.

"Dude, I don't even know. It's tough, man. Honestly, nobody can say anything about my body that I don't have a stronger opinion about," the media personality lamented. According to the blue-eyed beauty, she would never have survived if her younger self had been subjected to frequent disparagement.

"I also think that if I was younger, like if the internet talked about me the way they did now when I was 11, I don't think I would be able to exist, to be honest," Eilish admitted. Although she was happier with her image, the entertainer noted the negative remarks were hard to ignore, confessing:

“I like myself more than I used to, and I’m more interested in how I feel than how they feel. But then also, that might be a load of bullshit because it still hurts my feelings like a son of a b**ch.”

"Letter to some comments I will sometimes see," Eilish began. "I spent the first five years of my career getting OBLITERATED by you fools for being boyish and dressing how I did & constantly being told I'd be hotter if I acted like a woman."

Calling out these critics for changing their opinions and describing her as a "sellout" after she finally embraced her femininity, the media personality's message continued: "You guys are true idiots. LOL. I can be BOTH of you f**king, bozos. LET WOMEN EXIST!"
