Hilaria Baldwin Shares Where Alec Baldwin Stands On A Vasectomy 

Are actor Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, looking to welcome more children into the world?

After tying the knot in 2012, the couple is now parents to Ilaria Catalina Irena, 8 months, María Lucía Victoria, 2, Eduardo 'Edu' Pao, 2, Romeo, 5, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 6, Rafael Thomas, 8, and Carmen Gabriela, 9. The "30 Rock" actor is also father to daughter Ireland Baldwin, 27, with his ex-wife, "L.A. Confidential" actress Kim Basinger.

In a June 2023 Romper cover story, the former yoga instructor talked at length about her large family. Although she has received both praise and negativity from her social media followers about the size of her family, she revealed where she stands on having another child.

She said that her youngest daughter, Ilaria, who was born in September 2022,  "is probably, most definitely, almost completely my last baby." However, she admitted, “I’m always afraid to say it. I was putting away my maternity clothes recently and was like, ‘I’m afraid to give them away because then I’ll find out I’m pregnant.’”

Although birth control is an option, the podcast host is not considering it right now. “I feel awful when I’m on birth control; it makes me depressed,” she said. She also went on to joke about the possibility of the "30 Rock" actor having a vasectomy.

“Every single time I have a baby, my OB writes down the vasectomy doctor on a Post-it, and I bring it home to Alec,” Hilaria said, adding, “He hasn’t done it yet.” Judging by her comment, it seems that the "Supercell" actor is not keen on the possibility of getting a vasectomy, although he did mention that he wants to spend more time with his wife.

The actor explained that going out to dinner is usually the only time that the two get to spend time alone. “That’s the only time I have her to myself,” he said. “As soon as she comes home and gets in bed with that baby, boom, she’s out.” However, he had nothing but positive things to say about his wife for holding the family together, especially while he was off filming "Rust" in Montana only a few weeks ago.

“I admire her, and I have faith in her integrity. She’s incredibly decent, and she’s obviously a beautiful woman. I’m madly in love with her. And she can be a gigantic pain in the *ss sometimes, but that’s marriage," he said. "But I feel like I know a lot of friends of mine who get into a routine and everything’s about their kids. Who has more of a reason to make everything about our kids but us with so many, yet we still try to hold onto some time for ourselves.”

The couple does have seven children together, but their sixth child, a daughter named María Lucía Victoria, was born in February 2019 via a surrogate. Although Hilaria has declined to name her surrogate to protect her identity, she described the woman as "one of those people who loves being pregnant."

It appears that Hilaria was actually in the delivery room when her surrogate gave birth to her daughter, as she said, "To have that experience of being in the delivery room, and helping her push, and holding onto her leg, and cutting the umbilical cord. It was really meaningful."

However, when asked if she enjoys being pregnant, Hilaria responded, "Not really." She said that she does "love giving birth" before she revealed, "This last time around, I pushed her out in a minute! Giving birth is like going down a water slide that’s really scary. And then you get to the bottom, and you’re like, ‘I want to do this again.’”

Hilaria didn't just have a profile published in Romper; she actually made the cover of the magazine. She took to Instagram to reveal the photos, writing, "I’m happy to share with you my @romper cover! What a wonderful group of humans who captured these special moments with my 7 Baldwinitos…I looooove that they went with the flow and just let my kids be themselves—wild and free and candid. Some of these photos made me laugh so much…literally my kids are like wrestling puppies."
