The "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)" singer's tribute to her husband comes after the couple's relationship timeline was on the cover of PEOPLE magazine last week. Lohan and Shammas, who have been married for a little over a year, first sparked romance rumors in February 2020 after they met in Dubai — Lohan's residence since 2014.

At the time, the "Parent Trap" actress posted a since-deleted group photo on Instagram, where she casually introduced her "boyfriend" in the caption. She wrote, "@aliana lovely night with sister and my boyfriend Bader ❤️."

Using the same medium, the expecting mother announced on Nov. 28, 2021, that she was engaged to Shammas. The engagement included four snaps of the newly engaged couple showing off their excitement, Lohan's sparkly ring, and a caption that read, "My love. My life. My family. My future."

On Feb. 4, 2022, Lohan hinted in an interview with Extra that there would be multiple gowns at her wedding because outfit changes are "the best part." As she spilled more details on her wedding plans, she confirmed that she would be "a lowkey" bride.

Months after that, the "Freaky Friday" actress celebrated her first wedding anniversary with Shammas on April 3, 2023, in a simple but sweet Instagram post. Before that, she disclosed that she was expecting her first child on March 14, 2023.
