Britney Spears Reveals She Visited Estranged Sister Jamie Lynn Spears

It appears that Britney Spears and her estranged sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, are working to make amends.

In her latest Instagram post, the 41-year-old pop star revealed that she met her younger sister on set last week, most likely while working on the set of the “Zoey 102” reboot,” which will start streaming on Paramount + on July 27.

The "Hold Me Closer" singer looked happier than ever in her latest Instagram video on Tuesday night, which featured her dancing on a yacht with her husband, Sam Asghari, and manager, Cade Hudson, in a pink drawstring bikini and a wide-brimmed hat. The pop star and Cade later jump in the water together and seem to be having a blast splashing out and about in the sun.

In the caption, Britney wrote, "This is me and Hesam’s first vacation in a year !!!" and it seems that she is having a great time unwinding and enjoying the ocean breeze. However, that's not the part of her caption that really stood out to fans.

"It was nice to visit my sister on set last week !!! I’ve missed you guys so much !!! Loyal girls stay home but it’s so nice to visit family ? !!!" Britney wrote. Fans aren't sure what "loyal girls stay home" is supposed to mean, but the "Toxic" singer turned off the comments on this Instagram post, so fans weren't able to debate it.

"I’m so so blessed and I’m gonna play the queen of hearts now ? !!! Normally that’s Spanish right mamma ? !!! Should I do French from now on ??? Latin ??? Portuguese or German ??? Nahh I dunno ??‍♀️ because I don’t speak English ??? !!!" Britney wrote. Apparently, she is sticking to that, at least for now, because she followed it up with two more posts that each featured short captions in Chinese.

Although it’s going to be a long road to make amends between Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn, it appears to have been done at the urging of their mother, Lynne Spears. Earlier this week, the Daily Mail alleged that Lynne has been “begging” her two daughters to make amends and “will not rest” until the family is back together.

“Lynne is begging Britney to make amends with her sister Jamie Lynn now,” the insider revealed. “They are both leaning towards a yes. Lynne knows that Britney does miss her sister and she told her that the feeling is obviously mutual.”

The source went on to say that Britney wanted an apology from the 32-year-old actress before the two would meet in person. It appears that Jamie Lynn might have apologized, given that Britney felt comfortable enough to visit her on set.

“Britney still feels that Jamie Lynn is the one who messed up and, if they are going to meet, she would need to come to her and not vise versa,” the insider continued, adding, “Lynne is figuring out now how to make this happen, but she is not going to rest until everything is perfect again.”

Although Britney did not invite her sister or her mother to her June 2022 wedding to Sam Asghari, she did invite her mother inside her home in late May. Her mother made the trip from Louisiana to Los Angeles in order to visit her daughter for a few hours, but it appears that the trip was well worth it, as a source told the outlet that the mother and daughter dup “have been in constant communication ever since.”

“Lynne knows that it still will take time to get back on the same page and fall into all the right places their relationship needs to be,” the source revealed. “But she loves Britney more than anything and clearing up the wounds of the past is something she has strived to achieve for a long time.”

“Lynne also understands that there is more of a process to go through, but she is showing 100 percent effort to make sure that her own relationship with Britney continues to strengthen,” they went on to say. “With all of the drama that they have dealt with in the last couple of years with each other, Lynne’s recent meeting with Britney was a promising step in the right direction for better days ahead.”
