Contrary to recent speculation, the Duchess of Sussex has reportedly refuted claims that she is on the verge of signing a lucrative deal with Dior to become the face of the renowned fashion brand.

Reports had suggested that the potential agreement could amount to a staggering £15 million (around $19 million) for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. However, sources close to the royal couple have categorically stated that no formal contract has been negotiated.

Dior itself expressed surprise and confusion at the mention of such a deal. According to a source cited by The Telegraph, "The Duchess of Sussex is not in talks to sign a deal with Dior. There is no truth to the claims that she will partner with the French fashion house."

Spotify and Archewell Audio, the podcast production company founded by Harry and Meghan, decided to terminate their commercial partnership. This decision comes after the couple released just one series of their "Archetypes" podcast.

A joint statement was released on Thursday, stating, "Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together." However, no specific details were provided regarding the reasons behind this sudden conclusion.

The collaboration between Spotify and Archewell Audio lasted for less than a year, beginning with the debut podcast series titled "Archetypes" hosted by Meghan. The show delved into topics surrounding the limitations imposed on women in society. Throughout the series, Meghan welcomed influential guests such as Mariah Carey, Mindy Kaling, and her close friend, Serena Williams.

According to the Daily Mail, Spotify's decision to terminate its partnership with the Duke And Duchess Of Sussex could have significant financial implications for the royal couple, potentially amounting to a loss of $10 million. Industry experts suggest this development does not bode well for their aspirations of building a billion-dollar brand.

A PR guru Mark Borkowski expressed his concerns, stating that this is a setback for Meghan and Harry's brand, noting that their "star is really falling." Borkowski estimated the potential financial impact of the failed podcast venture to be as high as $10 million.

According to Borkowski, "They didn't get the quality of the product right and the gooey front of their new reality faded. The air is going out of their much-hyped balloon and these little things begin to erode that juggernaut of hype that they delivered when they broke away from the Royal Family."

He further noted, "If no one is interested in anything they have to say about mental health or the Royal Family then their star is really falling. It is not a good day for the long-term brand of Meghan and Harry."

With the termination of the Spotify podcast partnership, Meghan and Harry's remaining major deal is their £81 million ($103.6 million) deal with Netflix for the production of their documentary series.
