Kim Kardashian honored her father, Robert Kardashian, in a belated tribute for Father's Day.
The beauty mogul seemingly snubbed her ex-husband and father of her four kids, Kanye West, as she dubbed her deceased dad the "best to ever do it" in her social media post. The tribute also included her stepparent, Caitlyn Jenner, and caught the attention of several social media users.
Kim Kardashian's Father's Day Tribute Shone The Light On Two Important Figures
Although it came a day late, Kim was part of the big names who took time out of their busy schedules to add their personal touch for Father's Day 2023. For her tribute, the SKIMS founder uploaded multiple throwback snapshots featuring her, Robert, and other members of the Kardashian clan.
She kicked the show off with an image of Robert flashing a bright smile as he held her and her older sister, Kourtney, in his arms. The attorney, who died in 2003 after a battle with esophageal cancer, reappeared in the second slide standing next to the girls dressed to the nines in a black tuxedo.
Kim and Kourtney, who equally looked ready to party in their sleeveless neutral-toned dresses, appeared in the next shot posing with Caitlyn, who also sported a black tuxedo, at the same event. The former Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete showed up in two more images, including an older family portrait of Caitlyn and momager Kris, and their four kids — Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Rob.
Robert returned in the eighth frame, in an up-close, black-and-white image of himself and his now-billionaire daughter. The final slide was another black-and-white family photo featuring the father-of-four, Kris, and their brood.
"Best to ever do it! I wouldn't be me if it weren't for you two. Thank you. Happy Fathers Day," Kim penned beneath the media overload. Promptly, one fan stated in the comments, "Love how u added Caitlyn. Such a big person fr," and another agreed, "It's nice to see recognition on days like these for step parents too."
"Kim I love that you thanked both dads for raising you to who you are," a third netizen enthused, as a fourth added, "That's very special ❤️ Respect to them both." A fifth Instagram user commented, "The sweetest pics! You can see the love!" Meanwhile, one person, who could not stop themselves, pointed out that Kim had become accustomed to posting tributes for global observations late.
Just last month, The Blast noted that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum had taken her time in celebrating her mom for Mother's Day. She had taken to her Instagram page on May 15 and dropped a single picture of Kris rocking noticeable silver hoops, double-colored sunglasses, and a blue sleeveless top with "Bling" on it. In the caption, the mother-of-four began:
"I love you mommy. There's no one more thoughtful, sentimental, generous, supportive, and forgiving than you! You truly are the life of every party! No one has ever made a kaftan on a yacht look better than you."
Kim then admitted that she "didn't forget to post on Mothers Day," but she "just figured" she "had a better chance" of her beloved mom "seeing it today." "I love you soooooooo much!," the 42-year-old billionaire wrapped up, reminding her followers of the unbreakable bond between her and her mother.

Since her divorce from West got finalized last year, Kim has been undertaking the thrilling yet uneasy task of raising their four children — North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm — by herself. She spoke about the ups and downs of her experience during an appearance on the "On Purpose with Jay Shetty" podcast last month.
As reported by The Blast, when the media personality was asked about the difference between her expectations of parenting before she welcomed kids and her present reality, she revealed:
"Everyone says the days are long and the years are short, and that couldn't be a more true statement. So when you're in it, especially when they're babies, and you're feeding. There's madness going on. It's like full madness. It's the best chaos, though."
Later during the chat, Kim touched on the impact of motherhood, explaining that it is "the thing that has taught me the most about myself." She further acknowledged her challenges, sharing:
"It has been the most demanding thing. There are nights when I find myself crying to sleep. Like, holy shit, this f***ing tornado in my house. Like, what just happened?"
