Kim Kardashian Calls Daughter 'My Best Friend' In Sweet Birthday Tribute

North West is entering her double-digit era, and her mother, Kim Kardashian, as usual, decided to make it all love and adoration.

It takes something special to get the beauty mogul all mushy on the internet, and her oldest daughter completing a decade on earth is a milestone she would love to celebrate a million times over. 

On Thursday, June 15, as North turns ten years old, the mom of four— who welcomed her baby girl with ex-husband Kanye "Ye" West in 2013— rang in the perfect celebration for the 10-year-old's Birthday by sharing a heartfelt tribute on social media. 

The 42-year-old took to Instagram to share the sweetest mother-daughter selfies with an equally charming message to toast her little one on her 10th Birthday. In the post, the mother and daughter duo matched in team gear with picture-perfect hairdos — Kim in her signature slick back bun and North in two ponytails — and served faces at a Los Angeles Lakers game on May 12.

The reality star's mini-me wore a sporty leather jacket while she paired a distressed Lakers tee with iced necklaces. In the first photo, the SKIMS founder grinned at the camera while her beautiful daughter gave her best pouty facial expression. Meanwhile, the second snapshot saw both Kim and North making kissy faces.

The addressing note to the birthday girl, "My sweet special baby girl. I can't believe you're ten years old, North," followed the pictures she shared with her millions of followers on Instagram. 

The "Kardashians" star continued the sentimental note, writing, "My soul changed the day I met you, and I love having you as my best friend. Thank you for making me a mommy. I love you so so so much, and I will always be by your side forever [infinity emoticon]."

Underneath the cute post, many fans bombarded the comments with 'HBD' messages for Northie. Her sister, Khloe Kardashian, with other Hollywood friends like Lala Anthony and Olivia Pierson, led the pack.

"Beauties ?," one fan wrote while another commented, "She has your duck lips selfie face ?? Happy bday young icon!" A third user shared, "Double digits!!! Hbd!!!" Someone else noted, "So sweet, HBD to the future ?." Others used emojis to send their best wishes.

The KKW Beauty founder was still celebrating her firstborn as she took to her IG Stories to share several picture collages of herself and Northie over the years. One, in particular, showed the pre-teenager lying with her dolls as an infant. She was dressed in a white outfit that covered her legs.

The beautiful caption read, "Spot my baby! North was only 4 lbs when she was born, and her dolls were bigger than her! Alber Elbaz sent these dolls to North ?. I always loved this picture."

The doting mom's social media profile lacks the duo's pictures. Before the birthday celebration, Kim posted images featuring herself and Nori, who looked significantly taller than her age.

The media personality donned a sheer black crop top, leather pants, and leather gloves, while North was in a leather jacket top, oversized black jeans, and flat shoes. Their outfits were accessorized with black boots, dark sunglasses, and large Chanel bags.

However, in the picture, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum's daughter appeared less than a head shorter than her even though she was wearing heels. This reality caused many followers to cross-examine the star about her daughter's age and height. One user wrote:

"She's a mix of her parents in every way. ❤️ Is Kim really that short, or Northie that tall???." While another gushed, "She's so tall now, omg."

North West was already an icon before her 10th Birthday. She became one before she was even born, according to her mother. Following Kim's appearance at this year's Met Gala, which celebrated Lagerfeld's legacy, she reflected on her time with the late fashion designer.

The "Disaster Movie" actress shared throwback pictures taken during her pregnancy with North on her IG story. One snap captured the pregnant shapewear entrepreneur posing in front of a large display of books while the late German designer took the shot on his knees.

She rocked a black bra that showed off her endowed figure and thriving baby bump. A jacket and matching trousers complemented the all-black look. Although North was not physically present at the shoot or met the powerhouse, she could always brag about being photographed by the late "Fendi" creative designer.
