New 'Nightmare Before Christmas' Sing-Along Coming To Disney World

Disney has announced a brand-new "Nightmare Before Christmas" show coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios -- one of Walt Disney World's four theme parks -- for the holiday season.

For the first time ever, Disney World is bringing a new nighttime party to Disney’s Hollywood Studios specifically for the holiday season. Dress to the nines in your best holiday glam and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and atmosphere of Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the most wonderful time of the year at Disney Jollywood Nights.
Guests who have tickets to Jollywood Nights will be able to experience a new special sing-along at the Hyperion Theater located in Disney's Hollywood Studios themed to Tim Burton's "Nightmare Before Christmas".
The company teased the new show by sharing, "And … what’s this? Hyperion Theater will host a spirited sing-along – more details to come.” According to WDWNT, the new show will feature appearances by fan-favorite characters such as Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie.
The new "Nightmare Before Christmas" show is not the only thing Guests can enjoy while at Disney Jollywood Nights as Disney recently shared, “Get ready to dress in your holiday glam best or festive flair, dance the night away to merry mashups, indulge in divine treats and bubbling spirits, and snap selfies with iconic characters during this new festive event. For an extra dose of cheer, the party wraps with the return of the nighttime spectacular, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” You’ll be in fa la la la la la la la land before you can say Tinseltown!”
This separately ticketed event will allow you to enjoy the theme park from 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. on 10 select nights Nov. 11-Dec. 20, 2023.
What Guests Can Expect At Disney World This Holiday Season
Disney Jollywood Nights is not the only special event happening at Walt Disney World this holiday season.
Over at Magic Kingdom, Guests can attend the special ticketed event, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, featuring a special castle show called “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” the magical fireworks display “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” and the must-see parade “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.”
Per Disney, "On 25 select nights, Nov. 9-Dec. 22, this separately ticketed event will welcome guests to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at Magic Kingdom. Holiday magic is unwrapped with the return of festive favorites like the Christmas extravaganza stage show, “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” the sparkling spectacular “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” and the merry must-see “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.” Guests can also look forward to enjoying some of their favorite classic and thrill attractions, including TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise, which will use a virtual queue* during the event."
If you and your family want to experience the magic of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the special ticketed event will take place on select nights through November and December at Magic Kingdom Park. The dates are as follows:
November: 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28, 30
December: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22
Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be available for purchase online beginning July 6. Ticket prices will range from $159-$199 per person. Tickets will be limited.
