Amanda Kloots remembered her late husband, Nick Cordero, on Father's Day 2023.
On Sunday, June 18, "The Talk" co-host posted a heartfelt update dedicated to the remarkable men in her life, including Cordero, who died in July 2020 from COVID-19 complications. While the other men featured in her post got praised by her fans, the highlight was the late actor, who only spent a few months showing their son, Elvis Eduardo, his fatherhood skills.
Amanda Kloots' Father's Day Tribute Received An Emotional Reaction From Fans
Although it was a bittersweet day, Kloots celebrated this year's Father's Day with multiple throwback video clips and a heartfelt message dedicated to Cordero, her dad Freddie Kloots, and her brother Todd Kloots. The sweet slides began with a clip of Elvis sitting on his grandfather's lap as he tried his hands at drumming.
The baby boy donned a long-sleeved mustard yellow shirt and black pants, while Freddie looked on in a blue long-sleeved button-down shirt and jeans. Elvis reappeared in the second slide, seemingly learning to say "Happy birthday, mama" from his platinum-haired uncle.
Even though the adorable tot did not say the words perfectly, he was excitedly cheered by Todd, who wore a brown outfit. For the third slide, Amanda chose a clip that showcased Cordero holding their then-infant in a baby carrier strapped to his chest.
The father-of-one beamed at the camera before wiggling to the beat of the song playing in the background to his wife's delight. He wore a multicolored plaid shirt, khaki shorts, and matching loafers for the moment.
Kicking off the lengthy caption with the spotlight on her dad, Amanda dubbed Freddie "the best Dad and Grandpa," who always had time to "for a hug when you need it or a leak in your facet if he finds it!" Next, the "Dancing with the Stars" contestant bragged that she "really won the lottery here with brothers," adding:
"Todd is the ultimate Dad and has stepped in to be a second Daddy to Elvis. My brother is the most loving, most creative, funniest Dad I know! Love you Biggie!"
For her beloved husband, Amanda noted that Cordero wanted to be a father since childhood, picking out his daughter's name at age ten. The "Fit for Christmas" star continued:
"He loved Elvis so much! He loved playing music for him and taking him on walks. I so wish I could have seen him be a Dad longer than 10 months. I wish I could see him now with Elvis, playing music or monster trucks. Nick was such a big kid, I know he would have loved watching Elvis grow."
"You speak of Nick with such joy and love. How lucky Elvis is to see that...such a gift," one person immediately commented, as another wrote, "I'm sure Nick would be proud of Elvis and of you too for being a wonderful parent to Elvis."

A third claimed, "Nick is smiling down. Amanda you are the best. Mom and dad," and a fourth added, "Nick would have been so in love with Elvis and the amazing mother that you are to him."

Amanda had evoked a similar reaction when she publicly recalled a sweet memory from her and Cordero's short-lived time together ahead of Elvis' fourth birthday. As reported by The Blast, the mother-of-one uploaded a video highlighting several unforgettable moments the 41-year-old shared with their son before his passing.
The clip was set to an audio of the Tony Award nominee shedding light on Elvis' birth and how he and his wife, as new parents, felt a mix of happiness and fear to an audience. Amanda's touching caption began:
"On the eve of Elvis's 4th birthday, I am reminded of this beautiful recording from Nick's one man show about becoming a parent. He was beyond excited for Elvis to be born, to become a father."
The fitness instructor revealed that Cordero had written that he hoped their son would be "kind, confident, and happy" before continuing, "I think Nick would be so proud of his little boy. Not only because he's a little rockstar, just like his daddy, but because Elvis is so full of love, happiness, and joy. I promised Nick I'd give Elvis the world and I will forever try to fulfill that promise."
Wrapping up, the dancer pointed out her satisfaction that her baby boy "will get to hear his Dad talk about becoming his father" and encouraged her fans to "Take videos. Take pictures. Record things, your voice, a letter!" because they "can never have enough!"
