The Banshee Star Said Fatherhood Was 'Natural' For Him

Since the birth of his child, Pelphrey has been open about his fatherhood journey in an April interview with Access Hollywood. The "Ozark" star admitted he wasn't entirely sure what to expect from fatherhood, but he couldn't contain his happiness following the birth of his first child.

He said, "I was surprised how natural it felt, you know, like being around my nieces and other babies in my family was always a little bit like scared to hold them, touch them, didn't want to break them."

Despite his fear, the 40-year-old admitted it was so easy to be a dad to baby Matilda. "But, as soon as they handed me, Matilda, I felt comfortable holding her. I felt comfortable moving her around and changing her, and that was a surprise," he explained.
