These Recent Fan Allegations Isn't The First Questionable Ballinger Fan Encounter

The Miranda Sings star has been under fire for inappropriate behavior involving fans before.

Three years ago, a teenage fan addressed his personal experience with Ballinger in a YouTube video. Adam McIntyre, who was 17 at the time, recalled his professional involvement with Ballinger and a story wherein he alleged Ballinger had sent him underwear in the mail. Ballinger later confirmed the story, but according to Insider, she explained some of McIntyre's professional claims weren't entirely accurate.

Ballinger addressed the situation in a YouTube video.

"I was very shocked and confused, I expressed I didn't know what they were talking about, and I also expressed frustration that they were trying to bring my son's name into their drama," Ballinger continued.

She recalls that his mother messaged her and requested Ballinger stop communicating with her minor son, but the YouTuber felt it was necessary to speak out about the situation after more "rumors and speculation" began to surface.

"I have 'receipts' proving the things I'm about to tell you, however, I feel uncomfortable sharing them because he is a minor," Ballinger continues. She goes on to tell the camera she was going to share information that was shared between adults and details which had already been made public.

Ballinger stressed that she understood how McIntyre's claims about the YouTube star mailing him underwear would be disturbing without additional context, and claimed she would also feel the same way.

She goes on to recall a past live stream giveaway wherein she was giving away clothes that were "unused, tags still on, brand new that [she] had just bought but did not want."

Ballinger goes on to share "one of the items that was in this box was a really ugly pair of underwear. As soon as I pulled them out, Korey [DeSoto] and I started laughing and joking around about how ugly they were, 'why did I buy these ridiculous underwear, it's so stupid', before showing the footage as proof.

She then told viewers how the livestreamers began asking for the undergarments, and describes how McIntyre reportedly asked for the underwear later on. Ballinger claims he had been 'in' on the joke and recalled how the situation became an inside joke within her fandom.

"I don't know what part of my brain that was missing at the time, that I thought 'Oh, this is a normal, silly thing to do.' I should have realized and recognized how dumb that was, and never sent it to him no matter how much he asked..." Ballinger continued.

McIntyre recently posted another YouTube video that follows up on the three-year-old situation and other fan claims of inappropriate behavior.
