Meagan Good's relationship with Jonathan Majors thrives as more of the D.C. actress's loved ones continue supporting the couple's alleged romance.
The Hollywood sensations have been causing a stir with their rumored intimacy, stepping out for dates while failing to answer the burning question on fans' minds. The unexpected pairing occurred amid the Marvel star's domestic violence case.
Although some are concerned about the couple dating in such turbulent times, those around the "Eve's Bayou" star are not worried about her connection to the younger entertainer. The Los Angeles native's childhood co-star recently approved the duo's relationship.
Meagan Good's Nickelodeon Pal Robert Ri'chard Defends Her Alleged Relationship With Jonathan Majors
On June 14, the actor Robert Ri'chard was spotted by TMZ representatives while enjoying a day out in L.A. The "One on One" star was stopped and queried about his former "Cousin Skeeter" co-star's romance with the embattled entertainer.
When asked if his friend had made a terrible blunder by falling for the accused abuser, the Nickelodeon alum disagreed. According to the 40-year-old, the YoungStar Awards nominee had an eye for people, noting that the caramel-toned beauty had a sense for these things.
Ri'chard seemingly pointed out that the "Think Like A Man" actress might have found something significant in Majors that the world has not seen yet. Praising the outspoken Christian as a woman with solid devotion, Good's pal chimed: "Meagan is a woman of God."
Additionally, the "Touched by an Angel" actor defended Majors, claiming the 33-year-old should not be ostracized from society before proving his innocence in court.
On the same note, Ri'chard is not the only one from the actress's circle supporting the alleged couple's romance. The Los Angeles native's ex-husband, DeVon Franklin, shared his opinion about his former spouse's dating rumors.
During an appearance on "The Breakfast Club" podcast, the motivational preacher noted he loved the speculated lovebirds. According to the preacher, he had no reason to feel jealous or despise the "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" actress's choice.
"She's happy; that's a blessing. If I had that [ill will], whatever I'm putting out, that's what's coming back," the Oakland native claimed.
"So I'm not putting on; I don't have any ill will towards anyone in that regard because I don't have any ill will towards myself. So no, there's no hate," the 45-year-old clarified. Franklin's improved mental health might have influenced the entertainer's acceptance of his ex-wife's rumored romance.
In the heart-to-heart interview, the media personality noted that he had struggled to overcome his past struggles with anger and pain. Opening up about his challenges, the Franklin Entertainment founder admitted:
"There are nights [where] I’m crying myself to sleep. There are moments when I’ve been angry, but I’ve allowed myself to feel whatever I felt in order to heal because, in my experience, when I’m not facing what I’m feeling, then I’m trying to find something else to help me get through the pain."
The "Miracles from Heaven" producer was previously tied to Good for nine years. The duo tied the knot in 2012 before the Oakland native filed for separation in December 2021. A year later, the former couple's divorce was finalized in June 2022.
The Rumored Lovebirds Might Be Planning To Cohabitate As They Shopped For Interior Decor
Ri'chard's stamp of approval comes days after the speculated couple was spotted shopping for home decorations at a Los Angeles retail store. For their date, the duo went causal with Good flaunting her gorgeous physique in a pair of form-fitting biker shorts. She paired the gray bodycon with a matching gray sweater and bedazzled white sneakers.
On the other hand, the "Deliver Us from Eva" actress's rumored beau donned an all-black ensemble consisting of a hoodie, a baseball cap, and sweatpants. Like his date, the 33-year-old completed his outfit with sneakers.
The pair rocked their simple yet chic looks to the Modern Rugs store, where designer carpets of more than $13,000 were allegedly sold. The couple was photographed checking out some of the retailer's items, but it was uncertain if the entertainers bought anything from the L.A. shop.
Good and Majors' home decor shopping came weeks after the Hollywood sensations were spotted visiting a similar interior design store overseas. The pair were caught in Fez, Morocco looking at goods in Art Naji, the country's biggest handmade factory shop of pottery, zellige, and Moroccan tiles.
