Actor John Boyega is now on TikTok although he jokes that he has "nothing to offer" his followers!

The 31-year-old actor is best known for his role as Finn in the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy, although he has also starred in “The Woman King,” “Pacific Rim Uprising,” and “Attack the Block.”

John Boyega is now on TikTok and fans could not be more excited! The British actor greeted his followers with a view from the balcony, showing off an incredible view of the beach. “Just made a TikTok. But I have absolutely nothing to offer. Nothing,” he jokes as the camera pans over the white sand and crystal clear water.

In the caption, Boyega wrote, “Welcome tiktok family.” Fans were shocked to see the small number of followers he had, even though the video was only posted an hour ago. Many fans said that they were happy to support a “small creator” while other followers noted that he “deserved better” than what he got from “Star Wars.”

Although other fans asked about the status of the sequel to 2011's "Attack the Block," which is reportedly in development, the actor took to TikTok again to share a new video promoting his latest film, "They Cloned Tyrone."

John Boyega Promotes New Film 'They Cloned Tyrone' On TikTok

In a follow-up TikTok video, the actor shared three versions of himself walking in front of the camera at a Netflix red carpet event. The text over the video reads, “Who is the real John Boyega?” In the caption, the actor wrote, “My clones and I showed out at ABFF, referring to the American Black Film Festival. He closed off the caption with the hashtag #theyclonedtyrone.

Fans are about a month out from watching “They Cloned Tyrone,” which hits Netflix on July 14. According to the synopsis, “A series of eerie events thrusts an unlikely trio onto the trail of a nefarious government conspiracy.”

The film has been described as an “ode to the Blaxpoloitation films of the 1970s” and featured John Boyega as “the drug dealer” Fontaine, Jamie Foxx as “the pimp” Slick Charles, and Teyonah Parris as the “hooker.”

Boyega Talks Working With Jamie Foxx On 'They Cloned Tyrone'

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Golden Globe winner talked about the “vibe” of his new film and what it was like working with Jamie Foxx. "There's something about us being able to be silly about aspects of our culture that makes me laugh," Boyega said.

"Blaxploitation films always represented movies that let us express ourselves, and we could just look snazzy and do cool s---," he continued. "It didn't matter if we knew kung fu. It just all made sense with the music, with the vibes. I'm just proud to at least be a part of something that pays homage to that."

"I loved the concept," he added. "I already had heard about Juel Taylor's mind from behind the scenes. There were rumors of this young director who had a new perspective on entertainment and a new perspective on storytelling."

Juel Taylor is making his feature directorial debut with this movie, combining elements of horror, sci-fi, mystery, and satire along with a star-studded cast.

Boyega said that the "Ray" star was constantly improvising on set and "Everyone was just cracking jokes. Although it faced numerous COVID-19 related production delays, he described the set as a big family and called it the "number one best time" he's ever had filming a movie.

"It was a dope thing to be a part of, and the crew was really amazing," he says. "A lot of them are based out of Atlanta, so a lot of Black people in this. And really, it was just a vibe. The culture was just alive on set."

He also revealed that Foxx, who also serves as a producer on the film, even invited the cast and crew to his house during filming just to allow them to all get to know each other.

"They Cloned Tyrone" will be available to stream on Netflix on July 14.
