Catch Up With Ruchee Gurung After 'Love Island' Axe

Ruchee Gurung was the first Love Island constant to be announced, and now she's out in a "brutal" axe. Let's get to know Ruchee a little more.

The beautician was voted off the island after being dumped and left partnerless. It came down to Ella and Ruchee; she lost to the exotic beauty. Thankfully, the sweetheart isn't taking it hard, and she is happy to go.

Upon her exit, the Londoner admitted that she would have voted herself off, too, and knew it was her time to go. "I had a feeling that Ella would be saved because she has a connection in there," claims Ruchee. "I'm so happy that they chose her. I would want her to continue her journey.

She admits, "I thought I would be disappointed, but I'm not because I tried my best and was myself. It didn't work out for me, and that's completely fine."

Many fans didn'tet to learn about Ruchee during her short stint on the show; while she was paired with Mehdi Edno, fans got to see her sensitive and endearing side. She describes herself as "really caring."

She also shared with Radio Times before heading into the villa, saying, "I'm also really loyal and love doing nice things for the people that are special to me. My love language is gift giving, so I'm a real giver regarding relationships."

The 24-year-old shared that she chose to join the sexy show because "I'm single and looking for love, and it's the perfect opportunity for me to find someone. I'm a relationship kind of girl, but so far, it's not worked out for me," she admitted.

"So I'm looking forward to hopefully finding the right person in the villa."

The nail tech is active on social media and takes some pretty steamy pics on there, too; she is likely still looking for love as a second islander ousted without finding love. She last posted three weeks ago ahead of going into the villa.

Fans will also remember that while in the villa, Ruchee connected with Andre Furtado, who is currently paired up and happy to be with his original partner Catherine Agbaj. Fans hope the two can reconnect if Andre doesn't star with Catherine.

Ruchee is still a part of the drama even though she is no longer on the island.

Ruchee follows first out, George Fensom, who wasn't as gracious about his exit as Ruchee. Since leaving, he has shared that he thinks he got kicked off "too soon" he shared a message with his supporters once he landed home.

"Shout out to everyone sending me nice messages and kind support, and I appreciate it. I left the villa too soon, but do you know what? I was too long," he joked.

"But yeah, obviously appreciate all the support, thank you for all the messages, and yeah, just give me a couple of days to sort my bits out, and I will get replying, and we will talk about plans moving forward. Bosh."
