John Goodman isn't sure yet how the public enjoyed the revamped premiere of Roseanne Barr's former show, but one thing he does know is that she isn't happy about it.

"The Conners" star was in NYC and asked about Tuesday's ABC premiere episode with himself and Sara Gilbert leading the new series. As we reported, 11 million viewers tuned in to see how the Conner family was going to deal with the death of their matriarch.

Goodman says he hasn't heard anything yet, and he isn't sure how the show is going to deal with Roseanne's death in future episodes.

He does, however, have a thought on his former co-star, admitting, "I'm sure she's hurt." The star says Roseanne "Doesn't like the way she was handled."

That's probably an understatement, considering Roseanne feels she did not get the support of the cast while ABC was ousting her from the show. As we reported, she did not watch the premiere episode, but is upset about the "grim" death the writers gave her character.
