Peta Murgatroyd Has Helpful Tips For Mothers-To-Be As She Prepares To Welcome Her Second Child

Once again, Murgatroyd — due to give birth anytime now — used her Instagram page to share a helpful tip with all intending mothers. The expecting mom donned a white long-sleeve sweatshirt and appeared to be sitting in her living room. Her straight blond hair was styled with a part by the side while her natural face beat spotlighted her flawless skin.

The "Burn the Floor" star began her message by sharing a personal tip to "mamas-to-be and women who want to be in the future." The mom-of-two-to-be then registered the vital tip as "Cold Blood Banking," a method she used for her first child.

After that, she explained what the procedure is and how it can be advantageous to her followers. "It's the process of extracting the blood that remains in the baby's umbilical cord after you give birth," she said. "You extract the blood, freeze it because it has a lot of amazing stem cells in it. And then you can store it for potential medical use."

Afterward, she briefly talked about her experience with her firstborn, Shai, saying, "Honestly, I am so happy I did it with Shai. His blood has been banking for six years." "Thank God we haven't had to use it for anything," Murgatroyd added.

Concluding the PSA, the "DWTS" contestant said, "The blood can be used to treat diseases that harm the blood and immune system like Leukaemia, certain cancers, sickle cells, anemia, and some metabolic disorders."

Finally, she suggested that her fans enlisted the help of "Vicord," which she intends to use for this pregnancy. Likewise, the caption addressed the "cold blood banking" procedure she spoke about. It partly read:

"Essentially, it stores the blood from the umbilical cord, which has stem cells that can help treat over 80 different conditions in the future! Shai's has been frozen for 6 years, so I knew this was something I wanted to do with this baby as well."

Many of the doting mother's admirers agreed with the procedure underneath the post. One user wrote, "Best thing any parent could do for their child, while another stated, "Awesome!!! So happy you have this [forethought]... You never know ??."

A third with a similar notion typed, "1 am SO happy that you are doing and have done this. If it's in anybody's power to do this, I agree it is a smart step. I Love that you guys are so proactive. Love you two and the [fact] that you are sharing."

The blood-storing technique comes after the 36-year-old opened up about shopping for her unborn child in a separate baby update when she hit the 38 weeks pregnancy mark.

As The Blast reported, the "Faith, Hope & Love" actress, on her way to "one of her last" doctor's appointments, shared that she would be "linking some products she has been loving and the newest 'super cute and gorgeous'" baby garments she bought.

The TV personality further raised awareness over the "belly belt" she got. She clarified since her second child is "much heavier," the belt assisted with lifting her baby bump around and supporting her shoulders. She added, "And this belly belt, I cannot wait to show you…..My Gosh, does it help with the lift around my shoulders."

Conclusively, the pro dancer said, "Like I didn't just want a band around my waist. I wanted something that went over my shoulders and held him[her pregnancy] up; for some reason, it's difficult with the weight this time."

Peta Murgatroyd's Husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Claims She Cries When Leaves Home

Like herself, Murgatroyd's husband, Maksim Makism Chmerkovskiy, also lets out refreshingly honest updates about her pregnancy and the whole family to fans. The message from a few weeks ago reveals his wife gets raw emotions when he takes a trip.

Alongside an adorable snap of his lovely family, Chmerkovskiy swoons over them in the 'bye for now' caption he penned. In it, he shared that he is "off to Napa" and revealed his wife was being a crybaby— "per usual."

Before that, he noted that Shai was "left to hold it down" while he was gone— a task he claims the little one is "taking it literally by holding mommy's belly." Then he shifts to reveal his wife was in tears when he left. Poking a little fun at how she gets teary-eyed when he goes shopping, the father-of-one wrote:

"@petamurgatroyd is in tears. As per usual. Sometimes she tears up when I go to get groceries, so this is a big one ?."

Eventually, the text ended with his reaction when he took the trip. He wrote, "Me: I'm gooooooood! Also, me: [sobbing and listening to @sade for the entire 6[-]hour drive], [followed by three crying emoticons.]
