New Holiday Disney Cruise Line Itineraries Announced!

It's the most beautiful time of the year.. to set sail!

Disney has been celebrating halfway through the holidays by announcing new details of what Guests can expect when visiting the Disney Parks or sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line.

Today, the company announced new holiday-themed itineraries for the 2023 season and 2024. Here is everything you need to know if you are planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation.

This year, Disney Cruise Line offers two brand-new entertainment experiences -- a new tree lighting ceremony and the "Deck" the Halls at Mickey and Minnie's Holiday Party.

First, the new tree lighting ceremony will take place at the three-deck-tall tree in the ship's atrium for a brand-new tree lighting ceremony. Disney states, "Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy will invite your family to sing along to classic holiday tunes, followed by a countdown that will not only make the tree merry and bright but also introduce the guests of honor for the cruise (Santa!? I know him!)."

During the holidays, guests aboard a Disney Cruise Line can also experience a brand-new show featuring Mickey and Minnie. Disney describes the new experience as, "Mickey and Minnie's Holiday Party, another brand-new experience on these specialty sailings, will invite your family to the upper decks for a one-of-a-kind celebration at sea filled with tidings of good cheer. This high-energy deck party – by Mickey and Minnie – will feature favorite Disney friends as they celebrate friendship, love, and family with a fresh mix of classic and original holiday songs."

If you are looking to set sail on a holiday-themed Disney Cruise, they will be offered on select sailings:

• Disney Dream from Fort Lauderdale, FL: Four- and five-night Very Merrytime cruises to the western Caribbean and Bahamas. Also from Florida
• Disney Wish from Port Canaveral, FL, to The Bahamas and Caribbean
• Disney Fantasy from Port Canaveral, FL, to The Bahamas and Caribbean
• Disney Magic from San Diego, CA, to Baja and the Mexican Riviera

Disney also confirmed holiday sailings will be offered again in 2024! "From mid-November through December 2024, your family will be able to spend the most wonderful time of the year with Disney Cruise Line from two home ports in Florida, as well as a selection of cruises from Galveston, Texas," Disney reported.

The company released specific details, including which sailings will be included in the holiday cruises, including that the new private island, Lighthouse Point, will be included in select vacations. "Select voyages on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy will include a day of fun in the sun along the white sand beaches of Disney Cruise Line's newest destination at Lighthouse Point during the holiday season," Disney reported.

Lighthouse Point will welcome Disney Guests with its one-of-a-kind brightly colored architecture, created and designed in collaboration with local artists. "Located on the island of Eleuthera at Lighthouse Point, this vibrant beach retreat will be a unique celebration of Bahamian culture brought to life with the quality and service of a Disney vacation," Disney stated.

Disney Parks Blog announced earlier this year that Lighthouse Point will begin welcoming Guests on select sailings starting in the summer of 2024. In the meantime, Guests sailing on Disney Cruise Line can experience Disney's first private island, Castaway Cay, on select sailings out of Port Canaveral and Miami, Florida.
