Selena Gomez Teases Fans With New Music Straight From Paris

Selena Gomez is in Paris but as she just showed her fans, it's not all vacation.

In her latest Instagram post, the "Calm Down" singer shows off a series of monochromatic pictures of her in a recording studio and fans, well, can't calm down now!

From her recent Instagram posts, it seems as though Selena Gomez has been calling Paris her home, as she takes in the sights and sounds and the great food.

In a recent post, she posted a few clicks of her wearing a Christian Dior top although she got trolled for that as well, and some fans even accused her of looking curvier than usual.

The truth is, with a lupus diagnosis, Gomez recently declared in a live stream on TikTok that she was not a model and "will never be."

Gomez revealed that her medication for the autoimmune condition has caused her to gain weight even as she shrugged off the haters. She has been in the sights of trolls for a long time now who often target her because of her weight but the singer and actress has learned to take it all in stride as she explained that while her medication was helpful, it did have side effects.

At the time, she said, "Not a model, never will be. And I think they're awesome, mind you. I'm just definitely not that. I just wanted to tell you I love you guys, and thanks for supporting me and understanding. And if not, go away, 'cause honestly, I don't believe in shaming people for [their bodies] or anything."

Here's the 30-year-old, letting her hair down in Paris.

All work and no play may make Jack a dull boy, or so goes the nursery rhyme, but here it seems all play and no work makes Selena very bored - and so here she is, asking her fans to chill and watch her make new music from Paris.

In a series of monochromatic pictures, the 30-year-old revealed she's making new music, assuring her fans with the caption, "Don’t worry guys, it’s coming. Even from Paris. ?"

Lily Collins and Paris Hilton promptly replied with excited emojis and her fans also declared in ever-growing comments that they can't wait!

Others were more excited that new music could mean a new tour.

Meanwhile, it's not as if the trolls kept quiet, with hate comments filtering in as well:

"Can’t even sing !!!! No one buys your album."

"No grammy yet? Interesting."

Then again, it seems people have an issue with her wearing Christian Dior as well!

The tables seemed to have turned and the trolls are after Selena Gomez right now, as they shift sides to Hailey and Justin Bieber, leaving comments like:

"So you closed comments for the hate you were receiving but you were so happy commenting under TikTok about jb and his wife, all of this since 2019 omg, be a real woman."

Others felt all this online hate was weird:

"D---! So much HATE for just one person? Some of y'all are crazyyyyy, saying all sorts of stuff about a person you have never met, might never have the chance to even meet them."

The good thing is that Hailey Bieber is stepping up for Selena Gomez as well, and telling the haters to stop leaving mean comments.

The good thing is, Selena, does not read most of the hateful comments as she explained, "Everything I do I send to my assistant who posts them. As far as comments, my team will put together a few things that are encouraging."

Sorry, haters, guess all your vitriol is just not filtering through.

Meanwhile, new music from Selena is always a welcome sound and sight and most of her hardcore fans feel this is going to be one epic ride indeed. Much like her fans, we can't wait either.
