June marks roughly two months since Rumer Willis welcomed her first and only child Louetta Isley Thomas Willis, making her parents Bruce Willis and Demi Moore first-time grandparents.
She and her baby daddy Derek Richard Thomas birthed the infant via an unmedicated home delivery in April which she was previously open about.
However, recently, the mother-of-one loved up on her postpartum figure and could not help but flaunt it on social media.
Rumer Willis' Postpartum Bod Looks 'Cozy' In All-white Outfit In New Photo
Rumer recently went on Instagram with a mirror selfie highlighting her postpartum figure in an all-white ensemble, taken in what looked like a closet. Her outfit included a pair of loose drawstring pants, a crop top, and a long button-down shirt worn as a jacket.
Although the new mom's outfit loosely hung on her frame, her flawless midriff was on full display while fans could see her ample bosom accentuated by her top. She was also captured raising one hand over her blonde curls, wearing blue patterned socks, and standing in front of an obscured individual sitting on a white chair.
The room had some clothes hung in the background, and its calm ambiance matched Rumer's outfit, which in turn flattered her postpartum figure.
She ensured to credit the brand responsible for her look by adding a text overlay that read, "Mom bod feeling so cozy in my @bleusalt." This comes days after the "90210" actress narrated her childbirth experience in an episode of the "Informed Pregnancy "podcast.
She disclosed in the candid session that she went into labor with her amniotic sac intact as her "water bag was bulging but still not popping" despite being ready to push baby Lou out. Since things were not going as planned, Rumer had to handle things herself with the help of a doula who permitted her to break her amniotic sac.
She recalled the experience, saying she "reached [her] finger up there and could feel this little bag … like a water balloon but with a bit tougher skin." This happened during the rollout of her ensuing contraction.
Furthermore, the "Hostage" actress explained that it was a "different sensation when the water bag is pushing against your cervix to when the baby's head is," and this made her express "shock and surprise" based on a photo of her at that moment.
From there onward, her delivery went smoothly as she was able to push Louetta without any difficulty, with the midwife and her partner, Derek, by her side to catch the newborn's entrance into the world. Adding more details about her daughter's birth, Rumer gushed, "It was the wildest thing. She had a cord wrapped around her neck, but it was also wrapped around her body in, like, almost, like, a prom sash."
The little one was "untangled" afterward and placed in her mother's loving arms, making the "Sorority Row" actress emotional. According to her, cradling her baby while "sobbing with joy" was "the most ecstatic, joyful moment" in her life.
'The House Bunny' Star Announced The Birth Of Her First Daughter On Instagram
In April, Rumer confirmed on Instagram that she had welcomed a girl child with her boyfriend, about four months after letting the world know of her pregnancy. She made the announcement by uploading a sweet image of the newborn dozing on a blanket with the caption:
“Louetta Isley Thomas Willis. You are pure magic. Born at home on Tuesday, April 18th. You are more than we ever dreamed of."
In no time, fans and loved ones of the 34-year-old congratulated her on the fantastic news, including her mother, who expressed "pure love for this little birdie."
Similarly, her stepmom Emma Heming Willis, who was on cloud nine, remarked, "Omg, we love her so so much." Several more celebs trooped in with comments, including actress Melanie Griffith who congratulated the new mom, called Lou "beautiful," and welcomed her to "this world" with open arms.
One comment from Nikki Reed read, "Sweetest girl. Loving you and your mama endlessly," followed by another from actress Hilary Duff: "Yes, mama …. Magical!'
Subsequently, model Ireland Baldwin, who was pregnant then, conveyed her delight by commenting, "Too cute… it ain't right. So happy for you!!!"
