Pratt, a father to a ten-year-old son, Jack, and daughters, Lyla, two, and Eloise, one, spoke passionately about the importance of cherishing family moments. He expressed his belief that every day counts in the lives of children and that delaying parenthood may result in missed opportunities.

In a recent Men's Health Magazine interview, Pratt stated, "People say all the time, 'Don't rush to have kids.' I'm afraid I  have to disagree. Rush. Have them. Of course, make sure you find a great partner but don't wait."

He continued, "I was talking to Adam Sandler a while back, and he said, 'Every day you wait is a day they don't get to have you in their life.' The younger you have kids, the more time they have with you."

Additionally, the "Jurassic World" star shared during the interview that becoming a father has significantly impacted his career choices. He revealed that his role as a father influenced his decision-making process when selecting roles in film and television.

"In the same way that being a father changes the kind of actor you are, it can change the kinds of roles you want to be involved in," Pratt stated. "I've found myself wanting to do more PG movies. I see a lot because my kids want to watch them, and to be honest, some of them are bad. And I'm sitting there thinking, This is terrible."

Furthermore, in his interview with the news outlet, Pratt emphasized that becoming a father has profoundly impacted his acting career, making him a more versatile performer. He shared how the experience of parenthood has broadened his emotional range and deepened his understanding of human connections, enabling him to bring greater depth and authenticity to his on-screen characters.

He pointed out that one of the "tools" he's employed in his career was "substituting," he's seemingly creating a simulation for his character based on what he's experienced before.

"And when you add the reality of being a father, being a parent, and what that means for us, it's a potent tool," he added. "That level of responsibility opens up a whole new cavern of emotional potential. What would you do to save them? What would happen to you mentally if you lost them? That instinct you have to protect them is everything you can try to fake, but it doesn't come close to what you have access to when you've lived it. Having kids is what it's all about, and how it's benefitted me as an actor is a pleasant byproduct."
