In an interview with The Telegraph, Davis, 58, shared the challenges she has faced due to the public scrutiny surrounding her use of cosmetic fillers. The actress expressed her disappointment at the harsh criticism she has endured, divulging that she has been "ridiculed relentlessly" by online trolls.

"It's hard to be confronted with your younger self at all times and it's a challenge to remember that you don't have to look like that," Davis shared.

She added, "The internet wants you to — but they also don't want you to. They're very conflicted."

Davis, who has been a prominent figure in the entertainment industry for decades, acknowledged that the pressure to maintain a youthful appearance is intense, particularly for women in Hollywood.

In a refreshing move, Davis chose to speak openly about the procedures she has done as she divulged that she first went into the world of cosmetic surgery by trying out Botox.

In the interview, she shed light on her personal experiences with cosmetic procedures, revealing details she had previously kept private.

"I was super-excited I didn't have to have my lateral lines, but it didn't do anything else for a long time," she told The Telegraph.

Davis added, "I have done fillers, and it's been good, and I've done fillers and it's been bad. I've had to get them dissolved and I've been ridiculed relentlessly. And I have shed tears about it. It's very stressful."

She went on to share that "people personally blame us when it goes wrong," but it's the doctors who carry out the work.

Elsewhere in the interview, the "And Just Like That..." star disclosed that she adopted a refreshing laissez-faire attitude when it comes to cosmetic procedures and the public's scrutiny of them. Davis shared her perspective, emphasizing self-acceptance and personal choices as the driving forces behind her approach.

"It's whatever. I can't keep it up. I don't have time. You're trusting doctors [but] people personally blame us when it goes wrong – [as if] I jabbed a needle in my face," she explained.

According to The Telegraph, Davis pointed out that she did not realize there was something amiss with her lips until friends confronted her about it.

"No one told me it didn't look good for the longest time," she stated. "But luckily I do have good friends who did say eventually. The thing is you don't smile at yourself in the mirror. Who smiles at themselves in the mirror? Crazy people."
