Tom Schwartz Dropped A Lot Of Bombshells On Jax Taylor & Brittany Cartwright's Podcast

Tom Schwartz is doing his one and only interview about the Scandoval with Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor on their podcast, “When Reality Hits”.

The bar owner admitted that the way he handled the scandal was not the best and in no way was he trying to excuse his behavior, but they had a lot of personal family issues that he was dealing with and just took his best friend Tom Sandoval’s word on everything.

“Dad fell and hit his head, he had an embolism and only had a “5% chance of living, he was in three different hospitals in seven months.” He goes on to share that one of his brothers was diagnosed with testicular cancer and is undergoing treatment.

To make matters worse, “my other brothers in rehab,” and more family things that he said he is “uncomfortable” talking about.

All this coupled with opening or trying to open the new bar Schwartz & Sandy’s really took a toll on his mental health. This put him in a place where maybe his judgment wasn’t the best, or better yet, he’s just minding his own damn business because he can’t take one more thing on his plate. He describes it as “low bandwidth.”

It has to be said, Taylor and his wife Cartwright asked great questions and it brought out the comfortability in Schwartz. In return he got candid. He admitted the narrative Sandoval told him was “a shit bill of goods apparently because, you know, Ariana’s side of the story is completely different,” he admits.

Like everyone else, Sandoval was telling Schwartz that he had been trying to break up with Ariana Madix “over the course of many months. I think he said three times,” Schwartz recalls.

He goes on to say, Sandoval was telling him that they weren’t even sleeping in the same room and never have sex anymore. But he now believes that his buddy is not a great person and lied to his face.

Schwartz believes that Sandoval and Raquel Leviss are “vile” for “shifting the blame” onto Madix and called it “f**ked up.” Cartwright chimed in and commended the Stars on Mars cast member for saying that out loud because up until this podcast comes out Madix believes that Schwartz was more involved and defending him to a fault.

He also believes that the big reveal could be that the cheating duo never stopped hooking up, even though Sandoval claims it started as just a one-night stand.

The host couple also pressed Schwartz about the awkward timeline he provided on the reunion. He admits that he got his timelines mixed up and says he has “no idea” when Sandoval told him about the affair but recalls it being “sometime in August, sometime in the summer after the wedding.”

He is referring to co-star Scheana Shay’s wedding. Don’t forget, Schwartz made out with Leviss at the wedding, and many assumed that Sandoval was pushing the two together to cover up the affair.

When it comes to what he could stand to do over is going back and not hurting Katie Maloney. “Had I known she was going to be so hurt I would have never done it,” he admits about the kiss between himself and Leviss.

When asked by Taylor how his relationship with his ex-wife is now, Schwartz didn’t sound too excited.

“I still love her and respect her a lot, were cordial. But she’s so busy opening up her sandwich shop and it looks freaking awesome. We’re cool,” he claims. But he did say, “We’re not going out and getting dinner or anything like that.”

Schwartz admitted some of his other regrets like how different the relationship with Katie is now and how nonchalant he was about the whole affair and everything surrounding it.

Overall, Tom said he feels “used a little bit” by his buddy and Leviss. Taylor cut in to agree with him saying “he takes advantage of your kindness.” Schwartz also addressed the Big Bear snowboarding trip.

He blasted Sandoval for putting “not just me but a lot of our friends in an uncomfortable position.” The trip had been planned for months and was sort of a celebration for the opening of the bar and at the last-minute Sandoval says to him, “I wanna bring you know who.”

Ugh, the cringe is real. Schwartz and Taylor, both confirmed it was like Leviss wasn’t even there because she was “hiding out” in Sandoval’s hotel room.

Finally, when he was straight up asked what his relationship with Sandoval is like now, you know Schwartz, he bumbled around for a beat until finally saying, “I’m taking a break from Tom right now,” he sounded defeated.

“He made a big mess and left it for us to clean up back at the businesses. It’s hard not to be resentful of him.

Damn, another friendship for Sandoval has gone down the drain.
