Heather Dubrow Spills Secret Of Thriving 24-Year Marriage To Terry On Anniversary

Heather Dubrow has a few pointers for making a relationship survive the years!

As she and her husband, Terry Dubrow, have been married for over two decades, the "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star has shared some tips that have helped them remain in love and happy. Despite their continued efforts to keep their relationship going, the couple, who share four children, have also dealt with their fair share of problems, including the recurring allegations that Terry has cheated on his wife.

Heather honored the 24th anniversary of her marriage to Terry with a heartwarming behind-the-scenes reel of them posing for a photoshoot. In the clip, which the "RHOC" queen set to Jeff Kaale's "Cookie," the pair are seen holding each other intimately, sharing a quick kiss, whispering sweet nothings, and looking lovingly into each other's eyes.

They donned matching black outfits, with Heather in a skimpy dress, sheer pantyhose, and ankle boots and her man in a two-piece velvet suit with a white undershirt. The "That's Life" actress' joy could be felt through the caption, which she began with, "After 24 years of marriage, this is my advice for EVERYONE who wants a happy, strong, and successful marriage ❤️."

Her number one tip will likely resonate with her coupled-up fans as she told them to "Have separate bathrooms." Next, she advised them to "date your spouse," adding, "No really, don't stop going on dates … ever!"

She then suggested that couples learn to "let things go," following up with a critical recommendation when disagreements occurred, "Don't fight when you're tired or with alcohol on board. (Trust me on this!)." The 54-year-old then reflected on her long history with Terry, writing:

"Marriage is a leap of faith — but if you're lucky and work hard at it you get to do life with your best friend and partner in crime! Like me & T."

Heather's fans and followers duly appreciated the romantic update in the comment section, starting with this netizen gushing, "Y'all are amazing! And role models for your kids!"

Heather and Terry exchanged vows in 1999, two years after meeting and starting a relationship. Their journeys as parents then began in 2003 with the arrival of their twins — a girl named Max and a boy named Nicholas.

Next came their second daughter, Kat, born on October 5, 2006, and their third daughter, Collette, who completed the Dubrow family, was born in December 2010.

Following claims that the plastic surgeon had been unfaithful to her, Heather revealed during her October 2022 BravoCon appearance:

"Look, success breeds contempt. I don't know who's starting the [rumors]. It's not the first time; I'm sure, unfortunately, it won't be the last time. But at the end of the day, you have to know that you are OK. You know what your life is, and you have to just push the noise out."

The "Married... with Children" two-time guest star set the internet ablaze when she used this year's International Son's Day to share that one of her kids is transgender. In fact, several people claimed that the mum-of-four's reason for breaking the news was for her to "stay relevant" or even "create drama" for herself on "RHOC."

The "Hot in Cleveland" guest actress promptly denied the allegations through her podcast, "Let's Talk," where she emphasized that she would never exploit her children's stories to generate "content." 

After Heather divulged that the insinuations were hurtful and unfounded, she pointed out that her reason for disclosing the information was to "protect" her kids "physically and emotionally." As far as her family is concerned, the announcement was one way for them to commemorate their child's identity and show their love and support for his journey. 

The child in question is her and Terry's youngest, who has chosen to transition to a boy, changing his name to Ace to reflect his new journey. His mother's announcement post highlighted the new name that featured it on the sand of a beach.
