Addressing these remarks on her podcast, Let's Talk, Dubrow adamantly denied such claims, stating they couldn't be further from the truth. Per TooFab, she emphasized that she would never exploit and use her children to generate "content" and that such insinuations were unfounded and hurtful.

During her podcast, Dubrow delved into the reasoning behind her family's decision to disclose her child's transition to the public. She reiterated that their primary objective was to safeguard their child's physical and emotional well-being stating, "It's all about protecting my kids," she said, "physically and emotionally."

For Dubrow and her family, the announcement was a way to celebrate their child's identity and demonstrate their love and support for his journey. She also hinted at the external factors that influenced their decision, noting that "there are other people who want to tell your children's stories for them" and that it was essential for them to get ahead of the narrative and share their story before someone else did.

Heather Dubrow Announces Her Child's Transition On Instagram

In a heartwarming Instagram tribute on Saturday, Dubrow revealed that her youngest child is transgender and that he had chosen his new name - Ace. The post featured a beautiful photo of the name "Ace" written on the sand on a beach.

The 54-year-old used the occasion of International Sons Day to express her love and support for her child. In the caption, she praised Ace, emphasizing the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive as confident and independent individuals. Dubrow wrote, "Our job as parents is to give our kids a safe and supportive environment so they can grow up healthy, happy, confident, independent humans."

In the post, Dubrow made it clear that although Ace is a 12-year-old child, he has a long road ahead and that his story belongs to him, and that he will have the power to share it when he's ready. Either way, she and her husband are proud of Ace and will continue to love and support him unconditionally.

Dubrow has always been an advocate for her children's journeys and identities. Her son Max, 19, came out as bisexual in June 2020, and her daughter Kat, 16, shared that she is a lesbian in February of the same year. Dubrow showed her unwavering support for her children when they came out. 

With her kids expressing and being vocal about their sexual and gender identities, Dubrow believes it is crucial to support them as they navigate their unique paths. She explained to People magazine in February 2022, "We've got four kids; they are different genders, different sexualities, and all at interesting places in their lives, figuring out who they are and where they belong as humans."

Dubrow's commitment to sharing her children's stories is also a significant reason why she returned to "The Real Housewives of Orange County" in 2021.
