Jack and Kristina Wagner are still holding on to the memories of their son as they mark his first death anniversary. 

The former couple and co-stars on "General Hospital" sadly lost their youngest son Harrison Wagner a year ago. While heartbroken about the significant loss, the pair have continued to honor their son and keep his memories close. 

June 6, 2023, made it a year since Harrison's death, and his parents sadly remembered him with tear-jerking tributes.

Jack And Kristina Commemorate Son's First Death Anniversary With Emotional Tributes

The "Santa Barbara" actor reminisced on his youngest son's early days as he marked the first anniversary of his death. Jack uploaded a throwback photo on Instagram showing a young Harrison staring curiously at a campfire.

Accompanying the picture was a sad tribute where the doting dad wrote about his son's attributes while sympathizing with other families with similar losses. 

Jack wrote, "My youngest, so pure, so perfect. I love you, Harrison; I miss you, Harrison. My Heart goes out to parents who have lost a child. There are No Words, So we cry And Celebrate Harrison Hale Wagner 12/1/94-6/6/22?"

The emotional tribute left several of Jack's fans sending him love and comfort. A fan comforted the actor, writing, "Sending you deep, healing love." Another fan added, "I'm so deeply sorry! Lifting you and your family in prayer. ? ❤️"

Kristina also took to her Instagram to honor her late son. She uploaded a video of a grownup Harrison on a hiking adventure. In the video, the late Wagner spilled some truths about life before making a wish. 

He said, "I know everybody's got pain and struggles in life. That's why we get out of ourselves and whatever our God is. Whatever our belief is outside of ourselves, we wish for an amazing life, open-mindedness, happiness, and love. Let's make a wish." Closing his eyes and holding a stone, the late 27-year-old made a wish and threw the rock on top of a pile of stones.

Captioning the post, Kristina wrote, "We shot this video on Araby trail, and I am posting it on the first anniversary of Harrison's death. His words are comforting to me. It's brutally painful to [lose] my boy. I still believe in open-mindedness, happiness, and love, and I hope wishes come true. Thank you, Harrison."

Recall that last year June 6, around 5. am, Harrison was found in a parking lot in the North Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles. Almost immediately, authorities were sent to the area for a medical emergency, and the young adult was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The 'General Hospital' Alums Revealed The Cause Of Their Son's Death 

A few months after the 27-year-old's death, PEOPLE reported on the cause of his death. According to the media outlet, a report obtained from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner officials mentioned Harrison's death as an "accident," with Fentanyl and Alprazolam (the generic name for Xanax) as the official cause.

Jack and Kristina also confirmed that their youngest child from their 13-year marriage died from addiction. Following the sad demise of their boy, the former couple spoke about him and set up a foundation honoring him. 

The couple shared a statement on a website: "Harrison was a bright, exuberant young man whose smile lit up any room he was in. He left many men and family members who loved him deeply behind."

"We hope that Harrison's memory will live on through this scholarship and will help other young men get help for their addiction that they would not otherwise be able to afford."

Last December, the mom of two celebrated Harrison's first posthumous birthday. Alongside a video of Harrison dancing happily, the 60-year-old mom mourned her loss. 

"Sometimes I feel like a pinned butterfly," Kristina emotionally declared. "There's no second chance. There's no see-him-again. There's no nothing. He's not coming back. It's final."

She continued, "But life goes on. How do I spend the rest of my own without Harrison in it? What does it mean to be "all right" after the death of your child, your blood? The pain will never go away. Today is Harrison's birthdate. I had the privilege to know him for 27 incredible years."
