Mickey Rourke Ordered to Pay $32k to Ex-Landlord Over Unpaid Rent

Mickey Rourke has been hit with a $32,000 judgment after he blew off a lawsuit accusing him of screwing over his landlord.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a New York judge granted a default judgment against the Rourke, ordering him to pay a total of $32,511.06 to his former landlord.

Rourke blew off the case and never bothered to show up to court or respond.

Back in 2017, the actor was sued by New York-based Crosstown Realty Holdings, accusing him of screwing them out of three months of rent for his Tribeca apartment and leaving it in disarray.

Rourke originally signed the lease to the pad in 2014 and lived there until the end of 2016. He allegedly failed to pay a total of $28,985.86 in back rent.

The suit claimed Rourke left the apartment with holes and the landlord had to make $8,800 in repairs, including trash removal, patching holes in the walls, removing disco lights installed in the ceiling and two remotes for the air conditioning system that were lost and had to be replaced for $2,000.

Mickey Rourke has been on a roll with blowing off lawsuits — the actor was recently hit with a separate $50k default judgment over an unpaid American Express bill.
