In the comments, the 65-year-old's followers admired them, with one netizen tagging them as "perfectly perfect" and "Groovy." Another person called them "Two cute souls 😻😻," while a third gushed, "LOOK AT THEM THIS IS REAL LOVE 🥹🥹🥹🥹♥️♥️♥️♥️ ♥️."

Their love story started backstage at a concert in 2001 when they instantly connected. According to PEOPLE, de Rossi was still coming out as a gay woman, and DeGeneres was unaware of her true feelings.

It took three years for both of them to confess their emotions, and their relationship progressed rapidly once they did. After reuniting at an event in 2004, the sweethearts started their romantic journey together, and in no time, "The Ellen Show" host openly referred to the "Scandal" actress as her soulmate. 

When California finally legalized gay marriage in 2008, the couple joyfully exchanged vows. Shortly after their wedding, the "Better Off Ted" star shared the profound impact of marrying DeGeneres on her life.

The comedian expressed how their union brought a transformative change, empowering her to "live an honest, open life." She also highlighted how the relationship gave her a newfound sense of security and contentment.

Celebrating its era, the 50-year-old took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post, applauding DeGeneres and expressing her joy for her partner's achievements.

The collection included images of the "Six Feet Under" guest star, such as her iconic TIME magazine cover, a monochrome shot capturing her pensive gaze, and a black-and-white snapshot of the comedian casually seated on a high stool. 

Another photo showcased her wearing a stylish blue suit, captured amid an engaging conversation. Among the snapshots featured de Rossi alongside the iconic Oprah Winfrey.
