Bindi Irwin has, as usual, honored her parents' 'eternal love'!
The 24-year-old conservationist used a never before seen vintage image of her mother, Terri Irwin, and her late father, Steve Irwin, to commemorate what would have been their 31st wedding anniversary.
The emotional moment was highlighted by the accompanying caption and the response from fans, who lauded Bindi's parents for showing them what love truly means. Terri and Steve walked down the aisle in June 1992 and were married until the latter's untimely demise in September 2006.
Bindi Irwin Eulogized Her Parents' Love In An Instagram Tribute To Them
Even though Steve has been gone for over 17 years, his children have not forgotten how he loved his wife, Terri. To that end, his first child and daughter Bindi spoke the truth when she took to Instagram to drop a throwback photo of him and Terri posing on the beach.
Standing with one arm around his wife, the beloved Crocodile Hunter beamed and rested the other arm on the open passenger door of his famous white Land Cruiser. He also crossed one leg before the other as the wind blew Terri's hair about. In the caption, Bindi wrote:
"A love like this is eternal. Happy Anniversary to my extraordinary parents. ❤️."
The comments immediately came alive with remarks from hundreds of fans, including this one that read, "It is beautiful to see how just one man can have such a [sic] incredible legacy. I admire you & your family in your conservation of wildlife!"
"They have always been my favorite," a second person penned, as a third chimed, "Their love story is inspiring and beautiful." A fourth person commented, "Definitely soulmates! They were meant for one another. Happy Anniversary!! 💜," and a fifth admitted:
"Such a great portion of my adolescence was shaped by your beloved parents. Thankful that you have publicly continued the legacy with such grace and goodness."
While Terri has not yet put out her own post observing her and Steve's posthumous milestone, she did tweet a picture of them posing in what looked like a natural environment for their 30th anniversary. In the snap, the lovebirds beamed at the camera, with the 58-year-old American-Australian folding her hands across her midsection while Steve held onto one of her arms. Above the photo, she gushed:
"I married this incredible bloke 30 years ago today. What an adventure! Love and legacy live on."
Her fans expectedly rallied around her, with some recounting the impact the couple's show had on their lives and others commending Terri for keeping her deceased partner's memory alive through the family's works at the zoo.
The Irwins Honored Their Late Patriarch In A Sophisticated Gala
Early last month, The Blast observed that Terri, Bindi, and her brother, Robert, hosted a gala dinner in honor of Steve at the swanky SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. Bindi shared views from the event through her Instagram feed, starting with a selfie of herself and her husband, Chandler Powell, smiling infectiously at the camera. Below the sweet shot, the "Return to Nim's Island" actress stated:
"My date to the #SteveIrwinGala 🤎. @chandlerpowell Thank you for being such a supportive, kind, incredible person who I love with all my heart. Tonight was so special. More photos to come…."
Not one to be outdone by his wife, Powell responded with a heartfelt message, declaring, "I love you so much. I have the most amazing and beautiful date ❤️ I'm the luckiest man alive."
The rest of the comment section was overrun by Bindi's followers, who felt inspired by her and her beau's affection for each other. One netizen dubbed the lovebirds a "beautiful couple," and this user pointed out, "You two look so good together ❤️❤️."
A third supporter claimed, "It's great to see you both so happy," and a fourth commented, "Love Love Love the love you have for one another ❤️." Others simply lauded them for being "adorable" and making Steve "proud."
Bindi followed up with a video set to The Beatles' 1969 song "Here Comes The Sun," showcasing her family posing for pictures via her Instagram story. In the clip, the "Crickey! It's the Irwins" star stunned in a black top, a blazer, a long floral skirt, and a barely-noticeable face beat.
