Taking a trip down memory lane, Duff carefully curated a series of heartwarming snapshots, taking her followers on a journey through their relationship. The ten-slide carousel included pictures of the celebrant by himself and then spending quality time with his daughters. An image from their wedding also showed Koma carrying his wife in his arms.

The mother-of-three also made sure to add a snap of her beau in his element on stage and one that showed their lovely family together. In the caption, the "Lizzie McGuire" star wrote:

Duff thanked him for his constant presence and humor in their lives and lovingly referred to Koma as her "forever leg tangle." She apologized for the delayed post, highlighting her newfound freedom from the pressure of social media.

In February, the 35-year-old discussed the difficulties she encountered while transitioning from her teenage years and departing from the beloved series that catapulted her to stardom at the age of 13

As reported by The Blast, she got candid about the journey to redefining herself after her Disney days during a conversation on the podcast "Good Guys" with hosts Josh Peck and Ben Differ. 

The "Cheaper by the Dozen" star emphasized that she no longer wanted to be associated with it, stating, "People were just like 'Lizzie, Lizzie, Lizzie.' And still, now to this day, which it doesn't bother me anymore, but it did for a while, I just desperately needed to be my own person." 

Seeking a means to redirect public perception away from her famous fictional character, Duff revealed that she then deliberately chose to pursue music. She explained further, saying, "I think that I thought music was gonna be a good way to introduce myself, reintroduce myself, and it was."

However, the star disclosed that the path to becoming the person she aspired to be, free from external influences, was far from easy. In fact, it took her five years of dedicated effort to navigate through the transformative journey.
