Hilary Duff Evokes 'Favorite' Memories To Celebrate Husband's Birthday

Hillary Duff is celebrating her husband, Matthew Koma!

The singer took to social media to honor her beloved's milestone birthday with a heartfelt tribute. With a blend of sentimental touches and nostalgia, her post served as a testament to their enduring love story. 

Throughout their relationship, the couple has been open about their love and admiration for one another. They frequently share glimpses of their life on social media, providing an inside look at their adventures as parents to their three children and their shared interests and experiences.

Taking a trip down memory lane, Duff carefully curated a series of heartwarming snapshots, taking her followers on a journey through their relationship. The ten-slide carousel included pictures of the celebrant by himself and then spending quality time with his daughters. An image from their wedding also showed Koma carrying his wife in his arms.

The mother-of-three also made sure to add a snap of her beau in his element on stage and one that showed their lovely family together. In the caption, the "Lizzie McGuire" star wrote:

"Matthew- here are some of my favorite pictures reminding me of all the happiness and exhaustion we plow through together. This family loves you so much - I love you so much - Happy 36 my love, I'm right behind you ?." 

Duff thanked him for his constant presence and humor in their lives and lovingly referred to Koma as her "forever leg tangle." She apologized for the delayed post, highlighting her newfound freedom from the pressure of social media.

This post is just another time the "A Cinderella Story" actress has reminisced and shared cherished times with her songwriter Beau. Last month, she looked back on a particular moment from four years ago, recalling the day he proposed. 

Sharing a snapshot initially posted by the DJ, Duff displayed their engagement announcement, featuring her dazzling engagement ring. 

The snap saw the lovebirds standing together on her Instagram Story, smiling happily at the camera while the "Cadet Kelly" star showed off her ring. In the caption alongside the post, she expressed her unwavering commitment to love, stating, "I would say yes again and again."

Over the years, she has gracefully transitioned from her Disney days and established herself in music, various films, and television projects. However, captivating audiences with her undeniable charm and versatility did not come without its own struggles. 

In February, the 35-year-old discussed the difficulties she encountered while transitioning from her teenage years and departing from the beloved series that catapulted her to stardom at the age of 13

As reported by The Blast, she got candid about the journey to redefining herself after her Disney days during a conversation on the podcast "Good Guys" with hosts Josh Peck and Ben Differ. 

The "Cheaper by the Dozen" star emphasized that she no longer wanted to be associated with it, stating, "People were just like 'Lizzie, Lizzie, Lizzie.' And still, now to this day, which it doesn't bother me anymore, but it did for a while, I just desperately needed to be my own person." 

Seeking a means to redirect public perception away from her famous fictional character, Duff revealed that she then deliberately chose to pursue music. She explained further, saying, "I think that I thought music was gonna be a good way to introduce myself, reintroduce myself, and it was."

However, the star disclosed that the path to becoming the person she aspired to be, free from external influences, was far from easy. In fact, it took her five years of dedicated effort to navigate through the transformative journey.
