Singer Britney Spears shared a photo of her young son on Instagram only days after she consented to let her two boys move to Hawaii with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
The former couple was married from 2004 to 2007 and shares two children together: Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16.

On Saturday night, the 41-year-old pop star shared a photo of her holding a young Jayden on her hip as she appeared to be wearing a button-down blouse with black shorts. In the caption, she dropped two flower emojis and credited the snap to GSI Media.
Although Britney has formally consented to let the two boys move to Hawaii with her ex-husband, many fans are skeptical about K-Fed and his intentions. Several fans have pointed out that child support can last until age 23 in Hawaii, as long as certain educational requirements are being met.
Kevin Federline Requested More Child Support In 2018
In the spring of 2018, K-Fed claimed that he made less than one percent of what Britney makes. At the time, he said that he was earning $3,000 a month while receiving $20,000 ($10,000 per son) each month from Britney in child support. In court documents obtained by The Blast, he claimed that Britney “earns in excess of $34,000,000 per year." In his declaration, Kevin wrote:
"I work as a DJ. My income this year is approximately $3,000 per month, which I earn by traveling to various entertainment venues around the country and providing musical entertainment. My income has changed significantly since the child support was last modified in approximately 2008 because I no longer earn a six-figure income like I did in 2008. I am no longer able to perform as a dancer due to my age, and I have not been as successful in putting out new music as I was in 2008. I am simply less of a 'name' and less in demand than I was in 2008, which has negatively affected my income."
Kevin Federline went on to claim that there was “an extreme disparity between the lifestyle enjoyed by the parties’ minor children in [Britney's] home and in [Kevin's] home.”
At the time, he said that Britney "is a single woman who lives alone in a 13,264 square foot Neoclassical Italianite villa on 21 acres of land in a gated community with an elevator, a library, a media/game room, 3,500 bottle wine cellar, an additional 1,200 square foot pool house, an orchard, resort-sized pool and spa, lighted tennis court and three-green golf course."
In contrast, Kevin said that he "lives with his wife, his two minor children from his current marriage, the two minor children he shares with [Britney] and two minor children from a previous relationship in a 2,000 square foot home."
He went on to claim that the pop star "has private chefs, tutors, caretakers, security and countless household staff available to the parties’ minor children. The children have numerous 'toys' including ATV’s, every video game system imaginable, i-Pads, laptops, and the best and abundance of clothing, technology and consumer goods. The children vacation multiple times a year with [Britney], including the finest 5-star resorts in such luxury destinations as, by way of example, the Hawaiian Islands."
At the time, K-Fed claimed that he "cannot afford to take the minor children on vacation or purchase the consumer goods unendingly provided to the minor children by [Britney] while in her custodial care," going on to say that, "The parties’ minor children are not able to accommodate having their 15 friends over to [Kevin's] house for a sleepover due to a lack of space. There exists an extreme disparity between the lifestyle enjoyed by the parties’ minor children in [Britney's] home and in [Kevin's] home.
Kevin Federline concluded his statement by requesting “an upward modification of child support” so that he can “secure housing and services they require to be able to meet the needs of the parties’ minor children while they are in [his] custody.”
K-Fed's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told PEOPLE at the time, "We think the reasonable needs for the children while they would be in Kevin’s custody is probably three times what he’s currently receiving."
However, a source close to Britney told Entertainment Tonight, “Kevin wants a raise in money and he can’t account for where the $20,000 is going."
A recent lawsuit filed against K-Fed and his wife reveals that the couple is being sued for almost $16,000 for alleged unpaid tuition from 2018 to 2019.
