Springsteen was recently allowed food for thought after an audience member slipped him a gift while in mid-concert.
Student Nathan Collet made sure he made an impression on The Boss; according to Daily Record, Collet held up a sign asking Springsteen if he could give the "Born To Run" singer a copy of his thesis!
Collet's thesis is "Brilliant Disguises: An Analysis of Masculinity Through the Works and Life of Bruce Springsteen." The title references Springsteen's "Brilliant Disguise" from the 1987 LP "Tunnel Of Love."

Collet spoke to the publication and revealed details about his quest.
"I've been a fan of Springsteen since I was 10," he said. "When he announced the tour, I gave him a copy of my dissertation myself." The outlet also reported that Collet traveled 186 miles from his home in England to attend the Murrayfield, Scotland concert.
"Later, he was going past again, and I held up my dissertation, and he took it," Collet continued. "He looked at it on stage and said it was very nice before putting it near the drum kit."
"I was on cloud nine for the rest of the show, and the concert was phenomenal," he said. "Nobody puts on a show like Springsteen."
Springsteen was reportedly joined on stage by Jake Clemons, the saxophonist son of the late E Steet Band member Clarence Clemons, who passed away in 2011.
